We need more than just Brunson going off, we need to contain Maxey. Brunson went off last game, they have 2 guys that can match Brunson's scoring output, one of them needs to be slowed down.

If Embiid puts the ball on the floor and we gonna foul him, make him feel it. I want his bitch ass on the floor.

I'm looking forward to what Precious can bring to the table and hoping Mitch does sit this one out just so we can test it out. Precious keeps Embiid on his toes defensively. He's a lot quicker and loves attacking the basket. He can keep up well with Embiid on the perimeter but will need help in the post.

Hate that this move is being forced on Thibs rather than him testing it out already. Gotta throw different things at your opponent when you will be facing them potentially 7 consecutive games. Keep them guessing Thibs!

I’d say it can come from a variety of places. For example, maybe the refs stop gifting Embiid 20 free throws. Cam Payne and Oubre also did a lot of efficient damage…if Embiid and Maxey are going off, we should not be allowing the role players to feast too.

I'm just waiting to see what the league does. Westbrook was ejected last night for less and that suns player...

The Sixers kept running the same play in the 3rd Quarter against us.

Role players play better at home, that's the nature of the NBA, one of the random dudes on their team may step up. Embiid had 34 against us on 12 freethrows in game 2, he's going to score and stopping him is just more unlikely than trying to stop Maxey. Maxey is putting up 31ppg against us right now on better efficiency than Embiid, he can match Brunsons output, that has to be contained, they need to put that fire out.

Precious already played in Game 3 and did a nice job, I thought. I agree with your first paragraph.

It's a dangerous precedent to set for all of the players concerned. I can't believe that Silver is happy with this result because it tarnishes the integrity of the game.

He gets foul calls even with no contact. Without Mitch, we have to realize that our defense on Embiid is severely compromised. The depth is gone. This is going to be difficult to win this series without him.

putting the control of the nba aside...I hate that I have to agree with you. I am not saying that the knicks are unable to win the series- just saying that -they are going to have to focus and play their BEST game.

Exactly. It changes our identity. We lost the number one offensive rebounder in the league and our biggest/longest body on defense. We dont win game 1 or 2 without Mitch. The reality is that we have to outscore them now.

Embiid had 50 and felt extremely comfortable... even if precious did a good job in an incredibly small sample size. When Embiid is comfortable, whether rational confidence or not, we are in trouble. Mitch made him work.

Knicks have to give Embiid a few very heavy-handed fouls.

As of right now, with the refs enabling him, he's doing the Knicks like they're p*$$y.

He has to be chopped back down to earth.

we're in a corner regarding this...who can do this? and if its done and philly retaliates - then who will be the next knick to retaliate?
This is where I blame the league...

If the nba doesnt make an example of Embiid on "some" level. I'm done. I will go back to managing my fantasy team and spend my money and time else where. Whats funny is I almost spent $700 for two tickets to that philly game. When you take the stats of the world into consideration- what do I look like throwing my time and money away- waiting for the league to grant the knicks their turn in winning a chip?! FOH...
