Two reviews of the past two fight nights
June8 Cannonier/Imavov
picks (10-of-14) - picked Cannoier Jacoby Baeza Marquez incorrectly, but was pretty solid this week
FOTN - Prates over Radke - it was a pretty crazy one, but he really showed out his striking to get a finish by KO knee
top performance - Zach Reese, who I thought would crumble to Marquez power, but instead I think Marquez is closer to being cut now, Reese's striking was awesome to see
silver star - Rosas Jr's submission work - really slick
big win - Dom Reyes - it's been a long time since he was victorious and KO's Jacoby (I wasn't confident in Reyes at all either, so good for him)
Best stoppage - Bruno Ferreira's KO on Stolzfus (spinning elbow) was perfect. He's a KO machine.
Please no more - the early stoppage in the Main Event was not great. Cannonier got the short end of the stick there and should rightfully contest it. It was not a great moment.
June15 Taira/Perez
picks (5-of-11) bad week for me
FOTN - Lucas Almeida's 3round thriller with Cuamba - deserved Dec to him, it was a great back and forth fight
top performance - Westin Wilson's triangle on Saragih - big upset and I thought Wilson was going to be KO'd early.
silver star - Taira winning via injury, he's right up in the rankings now!
big win - Miles Johns taking the co-main in what was a tough bout overall, He needed that win big, and D Silve de Andrade is getting a bit older now.
Best stoppage - Costa's RNC early in the night getting him back on track after a tough 2 rounds, he got it in the 3rd.
Please no more - Nothing to report this week.
In other news, Conor McGregor's fight is canceled and so is Jamahl Hill's, and other fighters have saved UFC 303's card.
Get better soon - Perez' knee, which buckled due to Taira's takedown. It didn't look good, and Taira said it was an accident, but in fighting, your goal is to injury or incapacitate your opponent, and he did that easily.
