Re: PG Pacers Game 3 - Loss
Can you guys think of a player who played on Turbo Boost every play that was actually good? Asking because if AJJ doesn't calm down I'm not sure he's going to be a player.

Having it read Game 3 seems more appropriate for this season.

This can't be stressed enough. He'll play though
Hopefully not, I'm greek but seriously screw the national team. We can't produce any shooters, so we can't win even with Giannis.
In reference to our title winning year

A dude won an MVP less than a decade ago who made a career of 'turbo boost', not a good take. Honestly if you take 2 mins you could prob name 10 players
wait isn't Giannis great because turbo boost? This is confusing

Horst can remain here, and be brought in via ZOOM if called.
Given their histories, that doesn’t end well as Giannis and Doc would advocate for bringing in new/keeping same washed bench they have now.

I mean the guy is a basketball savant. He makes all the right plays. My only question with him is whether his scoring game can catch up.
Also Russell Westbrook.

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Nothing about this season ever felt right from the get go. Like joining school midway through a semester and cramming for a final exam that you were in no way prepared for.

You and I will be on a lonely island on this one. The guy is interesting as a 8-10th man long term. But he’s not the answer as a 30+mpg core player. He’s our Jose Alvarado.

Nah. Not EVEN close to the same thing. I can feel your vitriol, though so I'm gonna let you cook.

Yeah AJJ knows the game and is ultra athletic, like this is the perfect archetype for NBA role player. Dude will be a heavy rotation player next season bet on it

I don't know how well he can dribble within traffic but there are some keep plays similar to what Nemhard did or a better example is what GSW vdoes with Draymond that I would like to see Doc do with Ajax. I honestly would love for him to play pg like Beverley does. Imagine Beverly patients and dribbling but with someone faster and can explode to the rim.
This team lack willing passers and having one more is always great.

I don't want to be too hyperbolic, but there's a chance this team loses the play-in games if that clown were still coaching.

Re: PG Pacers Game 3 - Loss
I am out of the country, but checked the box score and your posts. My thoughts:
1) I've risked my reputation and safety defending BP from the unruly mobs. And this is the thanks he gives me. In the one game he needs to stay in and produce, he gets kicked out. I didn't see the play, but who cares. Unforgiveable.
2) Until the final couple of minutes, the Pacers shot over 50% of their shots from three. I stated the other day that they had no inside presence, so just guard the three. I do fault coaching, just like I did when Bud's teams did the same thing. Again unforgiveable.
3) This was again a combination of bad offense because of the players missing and bad coaching on guarding the threes. Pacers will get rolled against the Knicks.

I think we were destined for the play-in with Griff finishing out the season. I think letting Prunty finish out the season was probably the right move. Felt like our mojo was at its best those 3 games.
The media loves to make fun of the Bucks record once Doc took over, but as we all know that 30-13 start was a total fluke. The few times we played a quality team they were always missing a top player.

Re: PG Pacers Game 3 - Loss
I’ve always thought that the post-ups we fed Bobby all season would be better served going to Brook, but maybe this year Brook just didn’t have the legs for it, but this game makes me feel even stronger about my original thoughts.*
*I understand the Bud strategy, and one carried over, is to have brook playing at the top to make it easier to get back.
I don’t have massive issues with Doc, but one thing that does concern me is that he just doesn’t know the players super well. It makes sense - he came in mid-way through the year. I kinda think these availability problems have helped him figure some things out about our personnel that will hopefully continue this series, and carry over to next season.

Russell Westbrook was incredibly controlled. There's a difference between being fast and in control vs whatever AJJ is right now. Maybe I'm in the minority, though. All good.
