Horst can remain here, and be brought in via ZOOM if called.

Why would you give Doc more power over our direction than Horst?

Nah. Not EVEN close to the same thing. I can feel your vitriol, though so I'm gonna let you cook.

Vitriol? Ok dude  Yeah a guy can't be good if he gives extreme effort, great point...

Yeah. That's what I said. Extreme effort.

Having it read Game 3 seems more appropriate for this season.

I mean the guy is a basketball savant. He makes all the right plays. My only question with him is whether his scoring game can catch up.

Also Russell Westbrook.

Russell Westbrook was incredibly controlled. There's a difference between being fast and in control vs whatever AJJ is right now. Maybe I'm in the minority, though. All good.

I mean I don't think you're wrong. I just think he needs to be given a chance. I'd plug him in as a rotation player, but not a starter in an ideal world.

MB for not being able to distinguish between turbo boost and extreme effort truly.

You and I will be on a lonely island on this one. The guy is interesting as a 8-10th man long term. But he’s not the answer as a 30+mpg core player. He’s our Jose Alvarado.

You can find posts from earlier in the season where guys were calling him a point guard. :-?

Also, my question was serious. But I guess he's like Giannis and Westbrook. I dunno.

My problem is that AJJ is very clearly a high IQ player but struggles defensively in the NBA like most rookies, this stuff gets fixed with experience. The way you are describing him is a super athletic chicken with his head cut off, that might be the case rn but his high IQ still manages to show its ugly head

The issue was panicking and hiring Doc. I was optimistic because Joerger came with him, but going from Bud to Doc is a big downgrade.

Why are guys acting like I'm calling him a bust? I was genuinely curious. In the game thread somebody called him Dan Gadzuric. I just think the dude needs to slow down, like a lot.

You maybe right. I would like to see if he could do more. Can he be a player that can take it to the hoop? All know I is that he can be a role player.

Horst doesn't have a lot to fix; he has a little to tweak and then pray for health. Giannis-Dame-Middleton is a championship trio. We don't need to be making any major moves this offseason. I believe we're very close to a second title and the worst thing we could do is try to fill holes that would be filled if our stars were healthy.

It's the backup QB syndrome.

I'm on this wagon. Mids/giannis/Dame is disgusting in the playoffs and will likely win a title if healthy. If they can't stay healthy so be it, a big change in the big 3 personnel won't save us atp. You want to keep Dame/Giannis and Khris has way more value to us than any other team
