Utah out: #9 and a future 2nd
Utah in: OKC #12 via HOU and its own pick back
OKC out: #12 and Utah protected pick
OKC in: #9 and a future 2nd
Why for Utah: Don’t love someone at 9 but OkC does so they trade back but get their pick back
Why for OKC: Jump up in the draft
If Utah gets 8/9

i dont think a 3-4 spot bump in a weak draft like this is worth a potential late lotto pick in 2025.

Utah's 2025 pick is protected 1-10 and they may not even have Lauri that season. Getting that back is not worth dropping 3 spots.

I think it depends on who they are looking at drafting, if the position 9-12 doesn’t matter much then why not. I go the other way and wonder if OKC would do that in this draft.
