Does the NBA have a team medical staff of the year award?

Knicks traded all their youth for two washed up guys and a player who routinely misses 30 games a year.

This season we moved:
Quickley
Barrett
Toppin
Grimes
31st Pick
Fournier
Flynn
2 2nd Rounders (the ones we got for Obi)
For
Anunoby
DiVincenzo
Achiuwa
Bogdanovic
Burks
McBride (was on the team but wasn’t playing)
We had to consolidate at some point. DiVo and McBride made Quickley and Grimes mostly expendable. Achiuwa has been better than Obi. OG, the main pickup, is better than RJ and showed the impact he could make in January. The Pistons trade is questionable atm, but nothing crippling.
Basically we traded some talent yeah, but so far nobody that we’ll miss too much. We still have all future picks and then some to replace the youth and make more trades. That’s huge. We aren’t locked into this team.
Overall Leon has been very good this year, but not perfect. Brunson buys him a lot of leeway. Injuries have obviously derailed this season, and Thibs should probably go at some point if he can’t keep guys healthier, but we still got time to rebound.
The Knicks are in a great spot overall though. The next 1-2 years, and what we do with the excess picks, will clearly make or break Leon’s tenure.

Promote Aller and give him a raise.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Pacers execs have this in the bag I'd think as the Siakam trade looks really good, the Brogdon trade is now paying dividends.
Rose was just wiping up his own diaper with the Fournier Pistons trade, and it's mostly been bad.
The OG trade also, in a vacuum was a 'good' trade but he was being forced to jettison the turd he created in re-signing RJ early for no reason.
McBride is a great pick in hindsight but that wasn't this year, so if it's a 2023-2024 award no.

If he'd got a higher impact scorer at deadline rather than the Detroits, it would have been a lock
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Tom deserves COTY before Leon deserves EOTY. Thibs has done an incredible job.

I think the executive of the year award is a frivilous award and I don't see the purpose of it. What does it do for the average fan other than make them aware of the fact that people outside of the organization are acknowledging the good job that the guy running things behind the scenes is doing. The same thing can be said with COY, who the hell cares? What I really care about is that the team that I root for doesn't get eliminated in the playoffs.

Still great asset management by Rose. He hand-picked good characters and disciplined players for the Knicks without giving out all the picks like previous GMs did.
Made Knicks relevant and serious organization again. He still has a war chest to splash on a star player. Giannis? Booker? Mitchell for cheap?
He did this without years of tanking. After all Thibs also his hiring so he gets some credit for that as well. F'in Sam Presti was drafting Durant-WB-Harden-Ibaka, then getting Scott Brooks and Donovan as coaches for a decade was not great, for instance.

Leon didn't do all that. Aller, Rosas, and those dudes did the grunt work. Brunson fell onto Leon's lap due to many circumstances that he had nothing to do with.
