Ben Simmons, bill Simmons, gene Simmons any body, just get Dlo off this team. This is 2 year straight we get internet idiot professionals from laker nation and other sites, who wanted this bum, and he can't come up clutch. These idiots need to stop calling themselves media, and should call themselves regular uninformed fan boys, who cause this team and themselves a disservice by begging for subscriptions. If we see anymore of these idiot pundits over the summer claiming how good Ham is as a coach. Or how good Dlo had improved and should be kept around because he can shoot. I'm calling in and telling these idiots that they do not represent LAKER nation or Laker Locked on but rather need to be locked out from commentating on anything LAKERS

Get's it on Russell.

We are the only team that's ever had him that's re-signed hm. In fact he's been traded after each team figured out what he is...

rui... disappeared completely

at least dlo showed up for a game or two... and carried us in the season, we probably wouldn't have even made the playoffs if it wasn't for him. so let's give credit words due.

we sign him expecting him to be a superstar? what he provided for his salary was great

No it wasn't smh it would've been better starting Reaves at PG and trading DLo, Rui, Gabe on the Deadline for players like Lauri, D Murray, Capela, Bruce Brown

You don't solve one problem by replacing it with another. Not to mention the fit would be even worse considering you'd be replacing our best shooter with someone that well can't.

Ben would be for the regular season to limit LeBrons minutes and games.

Whatever he brings in the playoffs would be icing on the cake. He would be a great 6th man off the bench

We've had that with DLo for a couple years now. We don't need that again. Someone who hides from the ball in crunch time

No more one-way players, please. D Lo needs to go, plays only one end. Ben Simmons isn’t welcome as he plays only one way, as well. No thank you.

Reaves can handle and score, needs to improve his defense but plays hard and doesn’t shrink under the big lights. Balls out.

Christie should’ve been a starter last season, plays both ends, doesn’t make any mental mistakes. He’s an athletic freak.

JHS is 6’6” and built like a tank for a PG, plays both ends. Needs regular minutes to slow the game down and is ready for it.

PG JHS
SG Reaves
SF Christie
PF LBJ
C AD

It may not seem like much on paper but with a good coach(?) and proper minutes that’s a good lineup, a good mix of veteran leadership and youth. Three team USA players, two budding studs in JHS and Christie.

Lewis should have a breakout year, too.

I hope Reddick realizes what he has in our youth and doesn’t want to trade them off.

Simmons would actually become a elite defender on Murray, Curry, Edwards when crunch time hits

Dlo was a liability

JHS is a garbage can what are you even talking about
Lewis is a noob, Christie is good but should be traded for a decent center with other pieces from the Lakers

Nobody cares about youth that needs 4 yrs to develop
LeBron and AD will have a final 3-4 yrs to win one more ring. Lakers should try trading for long defenders with decent offense like Wiggins, Derozan, KCP and a true center. If they could even trade Reaves and Rui and pick for Trae or Mitchell or even Butler you do it

The Celtics took care of their youngs. We traded ours away (Ingram, Hart, Julius, Kuzma…) along with 500 picks.

Our win now strategy hasn’t worked well for us.

Lakers won 1 ring in 6 yrs with LeBron
Celtics won 1 ring with 7 yrs of Tatum and Brown

Sounds like equal success to me

You can't have D'Lo's non existent D on the court at the same time as LeBron's non existent D...
If you can't or won't do something about LeBron, you can't have DLo on the court with him... And that's a **** ton of money to ride the bench...
And D'lo has virtually no trade value... So maybe we shouldn't be too hasty turning our nose up at Simmons... He's crap... But maybe the best turd we can hope for.

God, I feel like this is our political system in a nutshell.

Maybe we trade/waive Lebron and DLo.....and get on with our lives. Make the Lakers great again.....something like that
