The Magic's game 1 & 2 starting 5 are -19.6 in the series and their game 3
& 4 starting 5 are +20.6 a freaking near 40 point swing. Also, by extension, that bench unit JI is now apart of for game 3 & 4 is a +28.6
I posted something similar on the GB but crazy how one minor adjustment like that plus a couple other very minor adjustments probably won them the series.
I'm with ya tho Jon, i expect no adjustments. I saw a piece of jb's interview from the practice facility today and wow, very uninspiring stuff.

Re: 2024 Playoffs Round 1: Cavs (4) / Magic (5) (2-2)
If we knew just a couple things from the regular season, it was that the Magic play much better at home and their bench unit with Isaacs was especially effective against ours.
Arguably the biggest catastrophe for JBB (even over his anemic offense) has been his defense ... the Magic still couldn't make a 3pter in game 3 and their offensive efficiency still shot way up, and then they started sinking them in game 4.
For a coach who only ever talks about one side of the floor, it's a cardinal sin.

The channel guide on my DVR hasn't even updated yet to show that this game will be on NBA TV - hopefully it gets sorted out in time.

Not great ngl. Going to need to rely a bit on Tristan Thompson. Maybe we can benefit from add'l spacing
Allen has probs been the most consistent contributor

I would love to be a fly on the wall in RCF forums right now after Garland drops 17 in the first quarter lol

I like Merrill out there as it really does open up the floor, but I do need him to make a few shots as well lol

We are only up 1 going into the 2nd. It felt like we were in control most of the game so far except the last two or so minutes of the 2nd half.
Still shooting terribly from three (I can blame this one a bit on some terrible shot selection)

I'm honestly okay w how we are guarding Paolo. I am worried if we overload him that we are just gonna have defensive breakdowns off his pass and the subsequent extra passes

Okoro passes on too many shots.

Its kinda been an issue with a lot of players this series. Magic are great at rotating on the extra pass and nullifying the advantage

Okay I lied. I loved the switch to Mobley on Paolo and Morris on Carter.

Great game, idk if jb makes the switch of Niang to Morris if Allen is healthy but I'll take it. I've been calling for it for how many days now?
Regardless if Allen plays game 6 or not, I'm starting Morris on Friday.

I think it would have hurt rebounding more if they put in Mo over Carter honestly. Was a little worried about that honestly
