We did, twice. Kind of surprising, we don’t have very many picks left but hopefully we got a couple of good players.

i must have missed where we let greg joseph go. he wasn't that great but he's the kicker you're used too. now we've got to break in a rookie, hopefully he turns out. at least zimmer isn't around to break the poor kid's spirit

Yeah, Joseph was Ok. We'll see what this Reichard kid can do. Hopefully he is more consistent.

JJ looked pretty good after that first interception. That first TD was a perfect pass.

Lewis Cine had the game of his life. Better late than never I guess. Not that I think it means much.

so what should be our expectations this year? we're probably not making the playoffs right?
offense might struggle with not great qb play
defense maybe solid

I kind of expect us to finish last, not necessarily because we are terrible (although we might be), but because the division is going to be tough. The Bears are kind of an unknown, but with Caleb Williams and a quality trio of receivers they could be a playoff team.
I don't know what to expect from Darnold but he has talent and the best receiver in the NFL, so maybe he can figure it out. That's no guarantee though.

the defense seems to be pretty solid. they were on the field a lot today and held up really well. got a lot of pressure on the qb
running game seems to be pretty good. chandler ran really well in the second half
jefferson is still really good, any word on the injury? hopefully its nothing too serious
passing game outside of jefferson is kind of in 'good enough' territory. addison and hockenson also out so there aren't a lot of people to throw it to
darnold seems competent. the two minute drive was good. made a couple of not good plays but plenty of good ones. might not put the team on his shoulders and win many himself but seems like he could avoid losing a lot of games
that fumble at the one was rough and very nearly the turning point in the whole game. might win going away if we punch that in there

kind of feel pretty good about the team right now, even with most of the receiving core banged up

Looks like it was just a contusion for Jefferson, so he should be day to day. The Vikings look solid on both sides of the ball. Darnold has the talent, so as long as he’s not turning the ball over, I think we can win with him.
