Most people don't even know what they don't know. It takes a certain level of knowledge to realize how very not proficient you are at something (Dunning Kruger effect). Of course this doesn't apply to me but maybe others would find this helpful

Mysteries are mysteries to me. Like, why are there any missing persons or unsolved mysteries in the world when a supermajority of mystery readers are middle aged women. Many of whom are actually writing these mystery novels. Generally where a cat helps the detective figure out the clues in some way. Seems like the FBI would do well to just put out an open call to a mess of Minnesota moms who have a little extra time to look into it between fundraisers for the church choir and chaperoning for the girls volleyball travel team. They can bring their cats along.

I know, & what's worse is that I even volunteered to take over the chaperoning duties, but they wouldn't go for it. Told me, "cats don't like to travel." If you can believe that....

Dude, it's impossible to know what you don't know. Just as it's impossible not to know what you do know.

The latter is a big problem for me.

Time to stop ignoring this thread. It's a double negative -- make everything come crashing down.

The very question I ask myself each night before I turn out the light! What does this have to do with Katz?

One day I'm just going to call him & ask. But, until then, I rely on you to lift the interminable fog obscuring not merely the answer to our query but the very question itself!

You have all my confidence I am happy to say!

How can I miss you when you won't go away?
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression

Those who are convinced of absurdities, can be convinced to commit atrocities
