It's about expectations mostly. In a team bereft of scoring options, Herro is expected to provide it and when he doesn't he gets called out. But that first part isn't Herro's fault nor did he explicitly ask for this. That falls on the shoulders of our FO and their roster creation philosophy. You cannot expect Spo to keep working his magic year after year with a revolving motley crew of a roster :banghead:

Didn't answer my question. I didn't even mention Herro.

lol. I realized it after I posted, but the simple answer is that Bam atleast gives consistent effort on the defensive side. That's his calling card (as scoring is for Herro), so the fact that Bam isn't scoring much is only an issue for his fans who think he's a top 2 center in this league. For the rest of us, we are happy if he can be aggressive on the offensive end while still providing stellar defense.

Unfortunately, players aren't judged on effort. It's a stats league.

If Herro remains a Heat and Jimmy or Bam gets traded instead..

I’m hoping the old cutthroat mofo Riley resurfaces this offseason. It’s time to cut bait.

League has gone bigger, DoM.

Look at most of the best teams right now.

Boston has a 7'3" C. Denver has a 7'0", 300lb behemoth, and has a frontline of SF/PF's who are around 6'10". Minnesota starts two 7" guys.

Milwaukee has 2 bigs. Pacers have 2 bigs.

Outliers are OKC (but they have a guy who could be MVP) and New York (albeit with Randle, they start 2 bigs).

Small ball is a handy gimmick you can use within a game, but it can't be the main thing anymore. The league has evolved.

That’s what the Celtics wanted.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

His is and it’s backed by several things, doesn’t matter what you think lol

Video proof or gtfo.

Lmfao!! How about the soon to be 5 all defensive teams every year he’s started and being a DPOY finalist this season. If you need video proof you just watch with your fuxkin eyes closed which would honestly make sense

Us fans keep on beating this drum. Get us some **** bigs. Enough with this BS. Build a balanced roster FFS.

FT disparity is big. We aren't attacking the paint though, so it's probably fair.

We'd have to trade Jimmy and Bam. Herro would lead the tank while driving up his value.

Horrific idea and antithesis of how the heat run the organization, but a solution nonetheless. Bam would net us a treasure trove of picks depending on where he's sent.
