Bam is the least of our problems. He's a lifer. Likewise Jimmy, although the money/age dilemma is coming.

The jury is out on pretty much everyone else. There are complimentary pieces I'd definitely keep (Niko, Jaime, Delon) but I think there needs to be a concerted effort to properly re-tool this squad. Hell, Boston did it. Went all in by dealing JRich, Langford, a 2022 late FRP and a 2028 pick swap for White. Then traded mainstay Marcus Smart and picks for Porzingis, Brogdon/Rob Will and picks for Jrue.

Gonna take some gumption and gut check, and the Heat have been good in not overpaying the uncovered gems like Gabe and Strus of late, but we've hit our ceiling as a team. That means we need to go back to the drawing board and re-tool again.

If they win the Chip, it will in great part be due to Derrick White

That guy lost his terrible hair and leveled up!

We need to trade for Trae and cut his hair

More wings for Spo please. Genius.

I had to laugh when we hit 23 3s on 54% and Spo got all the credit for that win. Where's his genius now?

Why can't Spo beat one of the best teams in the NBA without his best player and multiple guys out and our third best player playing like ass? What kind of genius is he?

He got soooo much credit for that win, it's only fair he takes blame too. I know there's nothing any coach can do to change this series outcome but a fluke hot shooting performance doesn't mean he's amazing on it's own.

Trade Herro for a 1st round pick if someone is willing to give it up.

It’s going to go down a lot different with Jimmy and Mitchell here next season.

Deep down Celtics fans know it too

Jimmy and Rozier starting with Herro off the bench? Yeah the games would look different. Be way more competitive.

And that's why you'll see this exact team next season lmao

Blazers wouldn't move old Lillard 34 and his $50 mil/year deal for him. They preffered Holiday who is essentially a really, good roleplayer and probably still better than Herro. You can say it was personal, but NBA executives don't keep their high paying jobs by making decisions on "personal" conflicts. If an organization wasn't willing to do there 11 year franchise player a solid and send him to the team he wanted I don't see how any of these other organizations will. I mean White and Horford for Herro works.... and what do you think the Celtics would say about that?

It wasn't herro for dame. It was herro plus other pieces.
I'm not sure anyone would argue that jrue is worth more than herro unless you just want to go strictly youth movement.

Herro is also looking worse because he's being asked to do too much and he just isn't that kind of guy. I think all of us accept that by now and the hope is Riley does also. Herro can still improve and I think he will but he's not going to ever be an all star or even a fringe all star.

He needs to accept his role as a Clarkson bogdanivic Jamal Crawford type dude. There's value in that, silly saying there isn't. But his ceiling, if he gets there, is top 45-55 nba player range. Herro rebounds well for a guard, has good playmaking and vision, shoots great from 3 historically and 90% FT shooter. Dude is good. Just isn't great or anything super valuable. Would never expect multiple 1sts for him.

I like the center from Purdue, how do we make it happen?

I’m tired of this small ball junk!

Not true. Bam is playing really well tonight!!

Despite the production, he’s still a Tito

Not like he’s taking over the game

Isn’t putting Bos players in foul trouble and making a bunch of ft’s to control the pace of the game

Biggest indicator, his team is getting embarrassed in an elimination game.

What player in the league is carrying this supporting cast to a win in this situation?

Winning isn’t the standard that I’m referring

Not getting embarrassed in an elimination game is the standard

There are exceptions, but a true Michael isn’t gonna get beaten to a pulp like this in win or go home scenario.

No heart whatsoever! Folded up like a chair. You guys think Jimmy and Scary would change the outcome of this series?! It wouldn’t. Maybe if the games were close, but they are blow outs each time.

No idea bout Terry, but every game will be close with Jimmy. Absolutely! Even our win, since we wouldn't have thrown up so many 3 pointers

I supported Herro for a good while but it may be good for both him and the franchise to move on in a trade

The fact that we can’t keep the game under 20 is just confusing to me. Even the worst team in the NBA can keep these games closer. Hell college teams can keep this game closer.

Enough of the doom and gloom folks! We are seeing changes if we lose tonight. That said, I hope we fight and claw back into this game. Tonight is not the time for turd quarters!!!

Does anyone get a better whistle than Tatum?

I love the idea of signing Delon Wright and drafting a developmental guard in the 2nd for him to be a bridge too.

Basically you are tying to sugar coat poop and say it’s tasty. If Herro best possible outcome is 6th man remember we are paying him near 30 mil a year. That’s an epic fail. Remember the Warriors needed to pay a first round pick to get rid of Pool, that’s where Herro stands. So trying to make Herro part of any trade for a star will continue to get laughter from opposing teams. Maybe next year he raises his value.

Niko benched? Did he get hurt or did some of those bricks he threw up made Spo think Mills of all people is a better option??
