It was disgusting last game when he said Tatum deserved to get hurt for shooting a dead ball, and then today he took a low blow at MIA stating if Butler played maybe 4 more games in the regular season he probably wouldn't have gotten hurt in the play in.

At least when Tommy went senile he was still enjoyable to his fanbase, guys like Stan and Marc Jackson are just such a bummer to listen to when you have guys like Jamal Crawford out there. Color commentators are supposed to brighten up the game, not paint everything black, like jesus Stan get it together

Jamal doesn't say anything yet. He might one day but now he is just kinda there.

Heat are just over matched, Pozingis out, Butler out, Rozier out, Robinson injured. That's around $150 million in salaries versus around $90 million in salaries. I'm not sure any team would overcome that. Heat are starting Wright who was waived by the Wizards a month ago.

I'm not impressed by Tatum though. Great skill set, but doesn't seem to have the killer instinct. Celtics still might have enough around him though with White, Brown, and even Holiday. Brown gets a lot of flack on here, but he is atleast aggressive on the offensive end and doesn't settle. If I can watch and there is a close Celtics game I'm going to be very interested in seeing who attacks on the offensive end. Is it going to be Brown, Tatum, White, or someone else taking the big shots?

It's onlh Cavs or Magic.

No need to be worried about that.

How can anyone say Stan Van Gundy is biased against any team or player? He literally complimented Shaq in the first quarter and Shaq is on record as calling him the "master of panic". You might not like SVG's opinions, but that's all they are... his opinions. I don't see you can call him bias during a game he complimented a guy who previously dogged him and threw him under the bus,

Trade Jimmy to OKC, Trade Herro for a cone. Rebuild around Bam and the young guns.

Unless something I don’t expect happens, Porzingis should skip the rest of the EC series, both of them. I suppose if Milwaukee or Philly suddenly get healthy and finish their epic comebacks, that could change the equation for the ECF, though. He won’t be missed against Cleveland or Orlando.

I like Jamal, he doesn't waste his words. Every time he speaks it actually means something, and he actually tries to break down certain actions and thought processes. He's not like Reggie Miller who just rabbles all game about nonsense, he keeps it to the game.

Lowkey I miss Chris Webber too. Always positive, having a good time, and would break things down when needed.

That's really my issue too with these ex coaches, they aren't even explaining what's going on, so they add nothing

That’s kind of expected, isn’t it ?

They don't need him there. Should be done in 5-6 games even without KP. That ECF though...

Stan is right about Jimmy Butler. Butler sits out so many regular season games on some straight bullchit and then he gets hurt in the play-in. If he took the regular season more seriously, the Heat would have had a top 3-4 record in the conference. He missed 22 games. Sure, he had the family thing, but that wasn't all those games. The Heat should move on from him, if he wants to continue with this crap.

Without Porzingis, Cleveland or Orlando could be very annoying to play against since both teams have more than one good big. Kornet and Tillman are going to be needed.

Absolutely despicable how the Heat keep trying to draw cheap fouls by sticking their faces in front of Jaylen Brown’s elbow.

I want to take the time to thank Miami and their fans for the tuneup. It was a pleasure.

Was this is regards to my post? I'm not really in my feelings about his opinions, just that his attitude in general is negative the majority of the time he speaks. Not really the vibe I want when watching games, I just prefer guys like Walt, Eagle, King, and whoever TOR employs. They make the game fun and engaging

Stan calls the games like Brian Scalebrine, except he doesn't like or favor one of the teams. His commentating is like a home team announcer calling a game when their team is getting blown out, except he isn't a hometown guy, and both teams are getting blown out

No need for a Post mortem thread for Heat, something cannot die that never lived.
