Personally I think he just stopped caring as much about basketball. He is huge on family and his wife had his first child in 2017 and twins in 2018. Prior to that, basketball was his life and entire focus, but as soon as he became a father, basketball became just a job. He plays hard still obviously but isn't as invested in it. That's my theory anyways.

He's clearly lost a ton. He used to just overpower people physically. Regularly power dunking on people at 6-4 and outracing the defense down court. He's got almost no vertical burst anymore and that was probably his defining trait.

This will be 4 years in a row where Kawhi/PG couldn't even stay healthy for the playoffs. The only alternative for them at this point would be rebuilding but they're obviously not gonna do that with their big arena about to be unveiled.
