I seconded this but I’m not ready to give up DVo either. Something’s gotta give, I know, but still …

The FO will need to figure out if they will take that risk, but I think Randle needs to give back some money too.

I was thinking the same. He’d have to come cheap though. He’d definitely give us a lot of flexibility up front.

I'm as big a Tobis supporter as there is, as many well know, but to me, he' s been the Knicks 4th most valuable player so far while playing for the 76ers.
Pass.

This is MONSTROUS news. Not that it guarantees they keep him but if they do ,that likely means instead of the 50M players they would likely go after the sub 36M dollar players . Such as Bridges and Spidah.
A scenario where we keep Randle AND land one of those two above would make for an absolutely fantastic team.

Donovan is opting out for a bigger pay day than 30-35 mil per. Julius, and JB opting out for about 40-45 per. OG probably 30-35 per. Let's say he's happy with 40 (he won't be when he'll be eligible for 55-60), we're talking 150 mil in salary right there. Josh, Divo, Deuce, and I-Hart locked in for another 50 mil.
That's Suns 2.0 in terms of flexibility.

3) We extend iHart, OG, and Precious (on the cheap)
4) We have Randle and Brunson eventually opt in and extend (like Hart did)
Starters: Brunson, Spida, OG, Randle, iHart
Bench: McBride, Hart, Bogs, Precious
We keep that core together for at least 2-3 seasons to give them multiple chances at the title, before pivoting.

They’re extending Brunson and probably Randle this summer along with OG.
Brunson - 38 mil
Mitchell - 40 Mil
OG - 30 mil
Randle - 35 Mil
Hart - 20 mil
Bogs - 20 mil
Precious - 10 mil?
193 million lol And these are just conversative estimates. It's probably going to be more. We're not getting Mitchell to pair with Brunson and Randle. It's not financially possible with the new CBA. We're building around 2 stars - Brunson and Randle.

This is wrong because OG can opt into 19m and then extend.... Brunson is at $25m next season and then can opt into $25m in '26/'27 and then extend... and Randle is at $30m for next season and then can opt-in and extend as he's at $32m in '26/'27.... Not saying those guys will opt in and extend like Josh Hart did, but they might... and that gives us a bigger window of contention. Spida can do something similar as well... Plus, Bogs' salary can be shed by sending him to a rebuilding below-cap team.

ok I see what you're saying. A lot would have to go right but we would have a small window.
Never miss with the Sol when it comes to trades.

We’re not getting Mitchell. OG going to make 30 mil, Randle extended to 35 mil, Brunson extended to 38 mil..there’s no room for Mitchell who would probably command 40 mil. These are just conservative estimates. He's not coming
