To be clear, the team can change the status of a player any time. An injury report could be updated at 11:30 and the Bucks could change the status of a player at 11:45 and it would show up.

Bottom line is I don't think we know for sure until much later today and then it's going to end up they're both out again.

injury report updates every hour on the :30, but teams only need to submit by 1pm local on game day

the 1:00 thing is for teams on the second day of a B2B. Doesn't apply here. Otherwise the first injury report has to be submitted by 5:00 local time the day before the game, which they did.

NBA teams must report information concerning player injuries, illnesses and rest for all NBA games. By 5 p.m. local time on the day before a game (other than the second day of a back-to-back), teams must designate a participation status and identify a specific injury, illness or potential instance of a healthy player resting for any player whose participation in the game may be affected by such injury, illness or rest. For the second game of a back-to-back, teams must report the above information by 1 p.m. local time on the day of the game.

Reports are updated on a continual basis throughout the day.

Also, I find it funny that my betting app has removed the game from betting for now.
Maybe even they don't know what's going to happen right now, lol.

Lillard, Damian Questionable

Giannis remains doubtful on most recent update just now

The basketball gods need to make Dame play and make Hali out for this game. Then game 7 everyone plays

Read on Twitter

Dame looked like he knew he'd be back during the game 5 win. Boarding the flight & status update, more confident he's giving it a go.

Dame officially questionable is something at least.

I really hope so man, we are the better team when healthy, even the pessimist in me feels that is likely the case.

Mess them up!!
List Lillard as probable and then sit him out and play Giannis instead!

Yep, I am hoping he can come back and lead us (along with Khris) to a win tonight then Giannis can come back on Saturday. I know that is a lot of hopeful thinking but as was said a few times, anything is possible.

And if Giannis comes back, there’s a real chance we can still have the season we all thought we could be in for when we acquired Dame. This team is so weird but for some reason and maybe it’s the homer I am, but a part of me still believes this is a championship team somehow. The adversity we’ve fought through this series is astounding and deserves a lot of recognition. If we can survive this round I think we can still get to the finals. Bucks in 7 baby let’s **** go!

I think we play Giannis and we sit Lillard.
Honestly I think that's the better approach.
Giannis when rested can go for 45 and Pacers won't be forced to overperform as if we threw both our weapons on them

Let Giannis play if he really wants to, and hold Lillard out, is the way to go, because of the comparative risks of catastrophic injuries, and their respective ages. Lillard's a dead asset if he gets injured, Giannis would still retain most of his value.

i might get roasted for this but i feel like it's very risky to play Dame in this situation. If he can't get to his spots effectively, if he's not making his shots, he becomes a liability imo. And then does Doc have the balls to pull him when he realizes he's a net negative?

i was really hoping if it was just one of them, it would be Giannis.

If Dame is back and ready to go, that gives us two guys that are better at creating for themselves in the half court than anyone on their team.

Clamp their fastbreak and we win.

Dame is definitely a benefit. We don't need him to score 35 in the first half. We do need him to hit some shots. And he has to be more than a decoy, he has to be full speed. Indy will figure out pretty quickly how healthy he really is.

Simply having another ball handler to advance the ball against the Pacers pressure would be a benefit.

Pet Bev talking about how Kawhi taught him to practice bringing the ball up the court 1v3 was good insight on his recent podcast.
