Per Dr Jeff Stotts, Giannis is not at increased risk of an achilles tear. Different injury than KD.

And I don't believe this for one second. If this were just a pain management issue, he'd have been out there for an elimination game.

RealGM is saying both Giannis and Dame will try to play tonight. Not seeing this anywhere else though?

It's a nothing report, it means try to get ready to be able to play which, duh. Not try to play as in both confirmed to even suit up

Or

Giannis & Dame are out, but you get a fair officiating crew.

I would honestly have to think about it. I would pick Giannis & Dame, but the fact I would have to think about it tells you how shady NBA officiating is.

Luckily we are playing a fellow small market team like the Pacers, so maybe it will be different. I could be wrong but I would imagine the league would like to have an extra game 7 and if Giannis & Dame are both back, you'd think the league would rather have the Bucks in round 2 than the Pacers.

Absolute no question I want them playing and it’s obvious.

I have already detached myself from this series/season. I have zero expectations to advance to the next round. I fully support the team's effort though. It's really good data/test for Doc on which players he needs more and what additions are required. It is not over till its over. Go Bucks

Will this Khris underrated narrative ever stop ?

The dude has been signed max money for the last 10 years.

There is a reason he is not a frequent all star.
There is a reason he was a champion too.
Everybody knows what Khris is capable of.

I am fed up with the Jrue underrated narrative too ,whenever I hear this, it triggers me.

The tradition of posters being fooled by Twitter nobodies continues.
Luke Ridnour getting silly all over - throwing mad alley oops to Ilyasova.

Dude, he is constantly overlooked by the national media/fans. We’re not making this up. Not to mention our own posters think he’s overrated even after all he’s done for us.

It's just quoting the Woj tweet from earlier. Nothing new.

The NBA Insider hack says Dame is playing, says he'll know about Giannis soon still TBD.

But then you have people on our board saying he’s a 16 game player or he always steps up in the playoffs when the numbers over the course of his career don’t actually support it. I love what he’s doing this series but he is still overrated by plenty on this board.

Dame being upgraded makes it pretty likely he'll play, barring setback during warmups. For Giannis the key is if he goes out for his normal pregame routine with Khris.

Is this seen by media or will it go unreported because it’s a private team session?

You guys getting hooked up on Middleton and his salary while Tobias Harris out here getting the same amount of money. Give me Middleton 10/10 times. Dude has put up exactly when we need him to - not his fault that the role players have been mostly to blame when the chips are down.

ETA that I was once hand wringing over resigning Khris to a max 5 years ago. What a fool I feel like in retrospect.
