OMG, they using UD to push what's coming in the future, he would not have said anything about roles unless this was given to him by the FO and Coaching staff.
I got it, Jimmy gonna get his extension here soon. Tyler coming off the bench, Miami will make JJJ a starter, and well just keep trucking along, Got it.

UD is tapped in with the front office. The writing is on the wall for Herro to be traded

Nope, what Boston did was get Miami to quit waiting on Herro. It's quite possible with Miami moving on, Butler staying near the same or a little less and Bam's continuing development that Miami may have their best rosters for the next few years since Butler's been in Miami. I happen to believe Butler's work on the 3 ball will help him stay at a high level and take less bumps and bruises until the playoffs.
Next year Miami could just be a starting lineup of Rozier, Robinson, Butler, Jovic and Bam which is much better than what they had this year, it could get even better depending on what Herro package can net Miami.
Richardson will be back for depth, D.Wright should be retained and, in the rotation, Jaquez Jr should be learning from Butler to eventually take his role, Miami probably signs J.Cain for cheap depth since he can't be on a 2-way anymore.
And we will have another subpar season.

Tyler is crying himself to sleep tonight. If UD said that out loud on national tv, he was instructed to.

I would say Duncan starts to get more shooting in the starting lineup and separate Herro and Dunc, but yea, they are def using UD to start planting seeds.

I’m not sure UD has that kind of relationship to have any inside info on the Heat, he’s just another Twitter guy

If you're tapped in with the FO you're saying the type of offense Miami plays doesn't align with Herro's game and a fresh in a more open offensive system could get him to the next level of production instead of hey he's really a 30 million dollar 6th man.

I'm sure they talk to him about that, not to get his approval, but I would be surprised if he wasn't at least informed.
Side note: Tyler reminds me a lot of Michael Beasley. Good player who just isn't the right fit for the Heat, equal to trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. He just doesn't have the "it" factor that the Heat consciously or subconsciously want.

Ughhh
The next 5-10 years in the lottery and becoming a laughing stock around the league seems like a good idea, eh

To the people who say that the team should get a mulligan because of the drafting of Jaquez, Jovic, Herro, and Bam, I’d be interested to ask how they would rank Maxie within that grouping
Imo, Maxie is already better than all of them and has the highest ceiling amongst the group

Nope. Thats extreme Beenie.
3 years in the lottery max.
This year thru trades.
Next year as we bottom out.
One more year as everyone tries to figure it out.
Then push for FA acquisitions and playoffs.

All of this could have been avoided if they just overpaid for Dame.

Imagine this board as Dame and Jimmy sit out the first round of the playoffs as we get ready for the Bahamas

true, but that's assuming the same injuries happen. different scenarios.
but even if it did, we'd have our core, and this offseason would grant us the time to grab some more roleplayers for them. we'd be in great shape for next season.
as it is now... i don't see a way out unless a giant trade happens, which apparently riley has a track record of avoiding lately.

I was just trolling but definitely think you all are reasons little too much into his comments. I think he was just talking ball and answering questions he got asked by Perk
