lakers and suns
LAL TRADES: Rui, Russell, Vincent, Vandy
PHX TRADES: Beal + (LA's pick of): Gordon, Okogie, Roddy, Lee, Eubanks
The Lakers get their 3rd star to pair with Lebron and AD.....
Suns break up Beal's deal to get better depth and hopefully better fitting pieces around Durant and Booker

I think Beal is light years better than Westy

Any deal for Beal would need us to get back at least a 1st

I don't think that would be a dealbreaker for PHX

i'm definitely of the opinion that Beal for the Lakers trash makes a ton of sense both ways, I just don't think the Suns land Vanderbilt on top of the other 3.

As long as it's 3 Lakers for Beal -> that's not aggregating salaries.
Suns can still 'throw in' one more player to help balance rosters

Yeah, that’s true?
But in order to take back the four players in the OP; Phoenix would have to do one of the things they can’t do ; take back more salary or aggregate.
I guess that’s what I should’ve said.. Three of the Lakers for Beal is possible.... Four Lakers in the OP is not.

Lakers would need at least one 1st back to consider this. Also I don't think "star" and Beal belong in the same sentence

Re: lakers and suns
D-Lo/Rui/Vincent for Beal and at best a 2nd Beal’s true value is around $35-40 million.
Vincent is worth the vet min w/o Spo. Rui is inconsistent and at 17 million a bad contract. I think both production can be replaced with min & tax player mle. D-Lo and Lakers just need to end their toxic relationship.
Suns can’t play both Booker and Beal together and need a PG.
I think both teams should make this trade and not try and get cute with each other.

This plus D-Lo is most likely going to decline is PO to seek a longer term deal, so that's another thing

My point is D-Lo would have to agree and pick up his player option to be aggregated in a trade - then becomes an UFA at the end of the year. D-Lo is seeking a long term deal so that options off the table and if he's in a S&T, then I don't believe you can include anyone else with him and a 2nd apron team cannot accept it if it keeps them over that apron.

I think going to Phoenix (who has no ability to replace him or bench him..) is one of the best situations for DLO and his bank account. Phoenix will be topping/matching any offer they are given a chance to for the next 2-4 years right?
I don’t think this is a realistic premise with Beal to LAL in general... But Phoenix would likely pay DLO more in 2025 than any other team.. just due to necessity..

Re: lakers and suns
Beal is making 50mill/year for 3 more years. Lakers arent sending out much but they'd be tying themselves to a vey expensive Beal for a decent amount of time. I just cant see them taking him on without multiple 1sts coming their way
PHX is stuck with him

I'm not sure about the fit but how do you realistically get him onto the roster and from the Suns' side, why? They really need a PG like CP3 was for them a year ago. A player that can organize the players and get the offense going while managing the egos on the floor. And from the Lakers side, why would they want Beal who's declining and can't play defense and on a terrible contract - yuck - and he has to agree to the trade as well. Besides, the penalties for being over the 2nd apron become really harsh really quick, I don't see the Suns hitting those for very long.
The Suns really missed CP3 and Payne; if the Warriors let him go, I can see Paul signing with the Suns again.
