:D

Cousins needed a back-up. Got him! Falcons need defense. Got them.

Nice draft. I like!

I believe Bralen Trice and Michael Penix are the diamonds here. I look forward to both helping us have success.

It's certainly not as bad as some media personnel are saying. They just don't seem to have much bad to say about other teams.

I would rather get a QB in the 5th or 6th round, but I also wouldn't be upset if Falcons end up taking Penix or Jayden if one of them falls to #8.

Best move would be to trade down, but that is always easier said then done.

Hartman or Pratt in the 5th or 6th round would be a great pick up for the Falcons.
The chances all four of them will be great is very doubtful.

Do you not like Maye?

I don't really like Maye. He reminds me of Daniel Jones, Mitch Trubisky, Sam Darnold.

I would take Penix or Jayden at #8 or Nix in the 2nd round. But like i said, a good gamble would be Hartman or Pratt in the 5th or 6th round

atlantabbq99 wrote:I never realized how good Cousins' stats are. I always thought Cousins' numbers were alittle below Ryan but they are actually alittle bit higher than Ryan's.

With that said, I still don't like the signing. With Cousins' bad leg, the Falcons pretty much a clone of a 36yr Matt Ryan, which is basically a good arm but can't get out of the pocket, can't pick up the blitz and will get sacked +40 times.

I also don't like it for the obvious reason the Falcons only have a 2 year window with Kirk. If Bo Nix or Maye falls to the 2nd, then i guess you have to take them

Ladd and Bowers just killed it in their rookie season, they not only looked like pro bowlers but it would surpise anybody if they ended up being HOFers.

I knew from the start that Penix or Jayden would be special but to be fair to my critics, I did hate the Penix selection after the Cousins signing. I did feel like #8 was too high to draft an insurance policy, so I was wrong about that. But i was right that signing Kirk was not a good move from the start.
