Young Embiid was a monster defensively. But that guy was replaced by a flailing, flopping version who now lives on the perimeter offensively and doesn't even bother contesting half the time. Last year should have been an eye opening experience for all when the Celtics just went at him time after time, but media pundits still claim he's this supposed defensive anchor. Nah, he isn't.
