His motor and his resolve to keep shooting will go away, he'll look frazzled, etc. I think the Knicks could've still beat this limited Sixers team and maybe kyrie does it in different ways, but Brunson just appears to be a more consistent scorer and be mentally tougher, so I'll give it to Brunson. But if Kyrie can get to the finals and the Mavs win, I'd put that on the same plane. He's gotta show out and dominate.
Dame last year was incredible, he would've destroyed these Sixers too. But he's past his prime now.
If pains me to say, but Dame is showing his age. And tbf, it could very well just be coaching and roster. Those Blazer teams were built around him vs whatever the **** this Bucks Frankenstein team is. But man, Dame used to have “must see” games every week, now it’s every month… again, maybe just him trying to learn to be a second best guy vs a #1 option… but yeesh, looking like Blazers cashed out right in time.
And I say this as someone who was fully happy with him staying in Portland til the wheels fell off. Still would have been fine with that, but this was his choice… if it had to end like this, glad the timing worked like it did.
