The NBA dodged a walking beast in the Milwaukee Bucks. Had Dame and Giannis not got injured this was going to be there championship for the taking. NBA got lucky with these injuries. There was going to be no better duo than a healthy Dame/Giannis. Ask the Celtics what the Bucks did to them twice this year blew them out the gym with no effort.

Don't get it twisted the Bucks will be back with a vengeance next season.

Bucks in 6 don't @ me. 8-)

How we feel about the Bucks chances next season?

I was cheering for the Bucks because I thought they were the only team that had a chance to beat the Celtics.

Knicks if they had Randle would have fell into that category but I don't see them having enough firepower to win a 7 game series against them.

Lakers are stealing Lillard and Lopez from the Bucks
Giannis is going to the Warriors and Milwaukee will be in rebuild next season.

They were going to beat the Celtics make no mistake about it. It was a bad matchup for the Celtics. Anytime a team blows you out twice during the season you know it was a matchup thing. Bucks simply had their number.

Sucks injuries are apart of the game. I truly believe the Bucks had the best chance to win a championship if their 2 stars were healthy.

Lopez is old as dirt so I can see the Lakers getting him. No chance they get Dame though.

Let's not go that far about having the Celtics number but they definitely could have beat them.

It would have been great to see Milwaukee healthy to bolster this weak East playoff field.

That said, the loss to Indiana in some ways provides a convenient 'what if' to rubber stamp a somewhat dysfunctional and underwhelming season where they never truly got it together.

The Doc Rivers Bucks are a .500 team, he's going to get a pass because everyone got hurt at right before the playoffs but they were terrible with him running the show.

I mean, at no point during the entire regular season did they appear to be a team with the chemistry or defense to win an NBA title. Giannis and Dame never quite figured out the 2 man game and they never found their perimeter defender needed to win.

I think this core can still win a title but it was not happening this year, and not at all bc of the playoff series, bc of what I saw during the full regular season.

I mean the point was they were the only team in the East who could realistically beat them. They blew them out twice. That doesn't mean anything to you?

The NBA stolen us from a conference finlas between Suns vs. Lakers and Bucks vs. 76ers, the finals should be between Lakers vs. Bucks with LeBron finals mvp, rihgt?

Honestly, all 3 of these old teams (one of them with a new coach, Lakers) could be rebuilding next season.

How we feel about the Bucks chances next season?

Bucks are tough if Healthy but do your homework around the circumstances of those two wins against the Celtics. 1st was a rested Milwalkie against Celtics coming off a back to back overtime win vs Minnesota. 2nd was after the Celtics clinched the best record in the league and Bucks are playing meaningful games for seeding. 2-7 were close.

17-19 since Doc took over, very little perimeter defense. They weren't winning the championship, maybe they make the ECF and give Boston a series.
