I have to assume the NBA's nightmare finals is Minnesota-Indiana but Minnesota-Orlando might be as bad from a ratings perspective.

And I honestly blame that on poor marketing. Ant just now started getting good coverage and Paolo had a grand total of 1 national tv game prior to these playoffs... which is crazy as a number 1 pick and all-star as a 2nd year player.

This game is over. We obviously don't want to go too crazy because you do need regular season success - but the Magic and Thunder are showing how stupid the Cavs youth excuse was last year and this year. If Mobley isn't ready, he never will be.

That the role players get so shook alongside everyone else is probably an indicator that JBB is the problem. Since Allen is out I would consider running it back with a different coach - but if Mitchell doesnt extend (and why would he), trading him and bringing in a new coach is the minimum.

Maybe, but Orlando would have to go through the Celtics and maybe the Knicks to get there. I feel like they'd get a lot of hype for beating the top two teams in the east...both of whom rep huge markets.

Similarly Minny has to beat the unbeatable Nuggets to get there, if they make it they'll get a lot of hype and Ant will get pushed even harder than his amazing play & charisma is already warranting.

I think Orlando's height may challenge the Celtics a bit. Jrue and White are phenomenal defenders but idk if they can lock up two 6'10" dudes.

Apart from LBJ leaving and coming back, Mitchell has been the only big roster move with somewhat limited impact. Therefore, I don't expect much to happen.

This game's timeslot is a perfect example. If this was NY vs Philly it would have a much later start. The NBA should have insisted it get the same spot to expose basketball fans to both clubs.
