Aside from the talent aspect of things, I don't think Indy has the mental toughness and win at all costs come hell or highwater mentality that we do. Outside of that fcking gnat TJ McConnell. We'll see what Hali is made of. Turner is sofT. "I'll spell it, s-o-f- Capital T! Soft-t!" Eddie Murphy, Life
But our squad has multiple guys that fit the bill.

we'll see how he reacts tonight to all the boo's and chants made towards him. If he gets off to a cold start, it could be a long series for him

to that point...Philly was a bottom rebounding team and you see what we did to them.
And Embiid still is a really good rebounder even at 70-80% or whatever he was.
Turner has never been a really good rebounding big. I think we will have a huge advantage on the glass. And who's checking Hart on the glass. If Nesmith or Nembhard are on Brunson...that means someone smaller is going to be on Hart (even Haliburton at times).
We just have to keep in mind Obi doesn't want to rebound and just leak out so someone has to check that. Because Hart/Ihart/Mitch will be attacking the offensive glass.
Sixers outside of Maxey don't play at a fast pace. Indy whole team wants to run...
Limit fast break points and contest there 3 point shooters and we should be in a good spot.
Also let Haliburton try to score 40 a night if he wants (that isn't his natural makeup) like it was with Maxey. Just don't let him go off giving everyone else easy looks. That is how we can lose this series if there roll players are comfortable making shots like how Buddy Hield got hot that last game. Keep there shooters from getting hot.

for sure I try to let him play hero ball, thats not his MO. Honestly if they are going to just run and not send ppl to crash the boards a bit the rebound disparity might be 50/35 every game

Nesmith & Nembhard are just as annoying to play against as McConnell, that team has some dogs. Plus running as much as they do and playing a deeper rotation could give them more energy. We're the tougher team in this series, but the Pacers aren't as soft as Philly was.

Yeah you just don't want it to get to a point obi is getting 4 or 5 leakout baskets a night. But yes they will have to have guys crash rebound or we are going to murder them on the boards.
I'm only point out that they could say screw it...we are going to get destroyed on the boards anyway...so lets take advantage of the boards we get and leak out and get easy baskets.

They're used to getting murdered on the boards. They'll keep running if our transition D isn't on point.

You can’t even get Sixers games? That’s crazy. You’re like in no man’s land.

if that's the route they go things will get extremely ugly for them. They have literally no size, not 1 7 footer(Turner is 6'11), next biggest guy is the revolving door on defense. I see OG roaming around off his man tonight, Mitch on Turner and whomever is on halliburton should do everything they can to push him into the teeth of the defense.

Turner has to have a great series for them to beat us. Our bigs certainly don't like to stretch out to the 3 pt arc...my guess is the games Turner is hot from 3 is the games Indy will have a good chance beating us. To the point Thibs should look into playing precious at the 5 in this series to help with there bigs that like to shoot when our 2 centers really don't want to go out and guard.
I think NDOS mentioned when the playoffs starting when Indy was a potential matchup that we might be better suited with ihart or mitch guarding Siakam (not a good shooter). And then have OG on Turner...so that if they run that 1/5 P&R with Hali/Turner we can either hedge that and OG is quick enough to recover. Or just have Hart on Hali and OG on Turner and just switch that screen everytime and that limits what they want to do.
