If he really want to be there, either a private jet or the 5:00 United to Denver will get his there comfortably on time.

Why wouldn’t he be able to focus. The child is born, he is flying home tonight or tomorrow anyway. Being apart from his kid from his kid isn’t a super new experience for him yet. If anything a happy and healthy birth is a huge weight off his mind.

It's possible he could be inspired and play incredible. It's possible he could be completely distracted and a wreck. Different people react differently to different situations.
Was it Brett Favre who played the day his father died and had one of his best games ever?

Team plane, Lore’s jet, Glen’s jet, rent a jet. There is no way in hell he cannot get a flight to Denver.

True. But now the child is born. He was present for the birth. Now it’s a question of will he skip a playoff game to keep his partner company in the hospital while the baby stays there overnight.

I'm not saying that Rudy not playing tonight will change the outcome of this game or this series, but it could.

I think all reports have stated he is trying to get back to Denver. The question is if he will get there in time.

Thanks for the update. If that's the case he certainly should be able to make it.

Well if you keep posting about baby Bear, you will get that 20K no matter what :D I already post in the GB that ultimately is a personal decision but I would take a private jet to get back to the game. :)

It's nice. I get that I'm a heartless old bastard to suggest that it's more important to make the game. The child won't remember it and the partner should understand. It seems like he can get the best of both. Be there and still make the game.

In the grand scheme of things, I hope he makes the decision he would not regret at his deathbed.

Be there for the kid Rudy, it's what teammates are for.

It was different for Ant, he just had to drive back home. Rudy would have to stay in Denver tonight.

I'm guessing the team will fly back right away after the game, but maybe not.

IIRC Ant had babies with 2 different women. Was one of them his "partner" or both just baby mamas?

Jon K is on KFAN, saying Rudy is maybe up in the air right now - but flights are being delayed into and out of Denver because of high winds.
