Cavs are going to want at least ONE good young player bro. And considering we would have to try hard just to get him 15 min, its worth sending him somewhere we he would get 25+ minutes a game.
I don't want to lose McBride either. But a guy like McBride should not ever get in the way of us getting an absolute stud elite two way player to complement Brunson in the backcourt.
Truthfully Id rather give them DDV but very doubtful they would break up the band for Brunson. Its most likely McBride.
I still don't think we need to bend over backwards for Spida. THB, I don't know what he really does for our team because he and Brunson would be redundant and does not address the bigger need of having 4-5 offensive threats on the court at the same time. We right now go out there with Mitch-OG-Hart-DDV-Brunson so basically 2.5 guys you have to guard. I think most teams are content with Hart and OG taking open 3's (except for OG from the corner). Spida does not change that math. If we can get him 'cheap' great. Otherwise we gotta focus on another position IMO.
Umm
Ihart
RandleOg
Mitchell
Brunson
EXACTLY.
Mitchell Robinson (28), Precious (20)
Randle (33) , OG (15)
OG (20), Hart(20), DDV (8)
Spidah (22), Hart (10), DDV(16)
Brunson (36), Spidah (12)
Spidah and Brunson on court together 22 minutes.
Brunson on court with Hart or DDV for 14 minutes
Of the 22 minutes of Brunson/Spidah on court together. Brunson plays 5-10 minutes more off ball saving extra wear and tear on body. No more non stop blitzes and doubles on Brunson with Spidah out there.
Spidah as the 1 the 12 or so minutes Brunson on the bench.
