Keep in mind, without their defensive anchor, Minnesota will likely have to outscore Denver, not just outdefend them.

In Denver's two wins over Minnesota, they've averaged 115.5 ppg.
In Denver's three losses to Minnesota, they've averaged 95.3 ppg.

Apple tells me Denver has gusts up to 37 mph, so I think the weather is legit. Why risk it if it was going to be tight anyway. Happy Rudy will destroy in Game 3.

Let Rudy enjoy the birth of his first child. We took game 1 on Denvers floor, it sucks but its not the end of the world if we lose tonight. Its going to be a tough task without Gobert and I am really worried about Towns foul issues now because Naz Reid and Luka Garza will not be enough. Lets hope the team can rally and pull through regardless.

As he should. As anyone should for their first child. Family should always come before a job. Especially if someone grew up without a father and wants to make sure they are never like their deadbeat dad.

Nothing wrong with the decision. It's not an elimination game. It's not a game in the finals. A loss tonight doesn't get you eliminated. It doesn't even give the Nuggets control of the series. Wolves still have control of the series despite the outcome.

Being there for the birth I support. Staying there when you are flying back tonight or tomorrow morning anyway I don’t. I seriously doubt the mother or the baby are leaving the hospital today anyway. This is my opinion, but I suspect a lot of fans are gonna share it.

Have you ever been in that situation? I have. You do not simply go in and watch the birth only to peace out 30 minutes later.
