How the REFS handed the game to Knicks in the last 3 minutes:

1) a DEFLECTION by Nesmith was deemed a kicked ball, Knicks ball. Knicks proceed to hit a 3 and take a 3 point lead

2) Phantom moving screen call on Turner with 17 seconds left disallowing Pacers to tie or take the lead in the game.

Wasn't a Phantom call, it was textbook moving screen.. but yeah they normally don't call that so I'll give you that.

Its a moving screen, a very obvious one at that, doesn't matter if Divo sold it.. you guys are clueless.

It was a very minor hip check with DDV going full CP3 and flailing around like a sniper from the upper deck just hit him with three or four hollow points.

Really all comes down to Haliburton basically turning it over twice to OG (literally handed him the ball both times) and than causing the Off foul on the Turner screen cause he didn't wait for him to get set.

I predicted Pacers in 7 but if Tyrese plays this badly NYK will wrap it in 5.

I just had to watch 5 straight games of Bam Adebayo so i consider myself an expert on moving screens.

If theyre gonna call that, the entire league fouls out in the first half.

I'll give you the kick but phantom foul? The Pacers challenged that call and it couldn't be overturned. It was a lot of contact, you can't hedge on a screen. Usually doesn't get called when star big men do it though.

By the book it’s a foul but that same scene happens almost every possession. Just saw it like 3 times in the Denver game already.

You’re absolutely right, but once it goes to replay they have to go by the book. And like you said, by the book it’s a foul… I personally wish they didn’t call it on the floor, even as a Knicks fan, but once they call it and go to replay, they had no choice

As a Knicks fan, I was shocked they called that. While that technically is a foul, you just can’t call that there. Especially when both teams have been doing it all game.

That being said the Pacers couldn’t get stops or sustain their small leads. That’s why they ultimately lost.

Knicks need bench guys to step up. That isn’t going to cut it.

The knicks got the benefit of the kicked ball call. That was the only call that wasn't reversed. Everything else was reviewed and called correctly.

Calling a kicked ball when a team gets a steal is not even "officiating", it's literally just altering the game. I agree on 50/50 foul calls but for Black & white things like that in the final minute that's inexcusable and people have a right to call that out. That's not "crying".

if you didn't see the ball hit a player's lower leg or foot area (which it clearly did not) you cannot call a kick ball. Not even excusable.

Barely beat a banged up Philly, and needed the refs to bail you out against Indy in game 1. You are by far the luckiest team left in the playoffs, and you'll be found out eventually

the difference is they called the 4th qtr extremely tight. Both teams were in the penalty really quickly. So it at least was consistent...the whistle was quick in that forth.
