This is what happens when you let Jeff Green leave in free agency

They had an all time easy path last postseason, and they weren’t exactly dominant this season.

Having the best player in the world covers up a lot, but not everything.

Exactly! Sick of hearing analysts saying we can beat anyone in the east, but not the nuggets. They barely beat us in two games, with Tatum playing awful in one. They don’t have any bench, and they don’t have rim protectors.

This is humiliating. I can’t recall a more lopsided beat down of a top seed at home. Denver doesn’t even look like they belong on the court with them. They aren’t even competitive.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

What he does against this defense could make or break his legacy

First step, let’s get by the Cavs

Yes lol.

But since we are just playing hypothetical, I think Celtics will prefer the Timberwolves over nuggets. Timberwolves are a bad matchup for the nuggets but we don’t really have much of an answer for Jokic. Celtics are way more talented offensively than the nuggets, everything they do centers around Jokic and needing Murray to go flamethrower, Celtics can beat teams in so many different ways

Playoffs are different, but he averaged 39 against them in two games this season lol, on a 67% TS.

I worry about everyone else against a team like the Wolves.

We saw them in game 6 of the season and the 2nd one in Boston we won in OT and they had no Gobert or Conley.

Jaylen also had some success scoring the ball against them but I feel like they are A LOT better now. Maybe I’m wrong..

You cannot come back from a 25-point deficit against this team. Game is practically over, no need to say awake late.

There are nearly no similarities to their games other than playing in the NBA between the two. That Comparison doesn't make a lick of sense.

I knew it when they can’t put the lakers away. Playing catch up every game, getting lucky in the end.

Game and series IMO. Minny 6-0 so far, ain’t no way they drop 4 out of 5 with three games at home.

Would be difficult, even for Denver, to overcome an 0-2 deficit.

As long as we take care of the East, this is working out perfectly for us.
We match up a lot better against Minnesota/OKC/Dallas than we do Denver.

White missed the first game, and KP missed the second game, feel like that’s worth mentioning lol. It went to OT, but it was because Tatum destroyed them down the stretch and in OT

He will be fine against Minny, other guys will have to win their matchups though, and the Wolves deep with awesome defenders.

Minmy has definitely gotten better since then, but the Celtics have been at that level all season.

Sweep easily. They are too confident to fold at home. Also, the nuggets don’t have the fire power on offense to keep up. We are the only team that can beat these two. We play D and our offense can lit them up. Imagine if these wolves play the knicks in the finals. Brunson can’t score on this defense.

Murray getting exposed in this series. He's overrated. Yes he's a great compliment to Jokic when he's dominating and opening things up for Murray. But Murry isn't an elite player individually. That's why he's never been an All Star/Pro. If Jokic isn't dominating Murray usually won't either.

I mean, we really can't mock the Nuggets. If their path to the title last season was weak, what does that say about last year's Cs who couldn't even get past the Heat? They still won a championship. And we still have none in my lifetime.
