They gotta get kcp and Murray on the DNP if they want a chance. They're giving you a lot less on the defensive end then you'd get from the bench and their offense literally can't be worse. If the injuries are limiting them that much you're alot better off with both of em not playing.

I get it and Denver probably was still my pick to come out of the West a few months ago, but like I said I think people underestimate the difficulty of repeating.

Particularly in the West.

The Nuggets being really elite closers in games seems to have covered up the fact that they can be very vulnerable if you come out and punch them in the mouth early.

Historically as well there have been some absolutely amazing teams that haven’t repeated. It’s a lot different when the entire NBA spends the off season and season building towards knocking off the champs.
