I vividly remember, after being eliminated in 5 games, how some Lakers/Lebron fans claimed the Lakers were the second-best team in the west and was just unlucky to play the Nuggets in the first round.

What has greatly impressed me with this team and coaching staff is the Timberwolves are able to play well in a few different configurations. I think you hit on the head, plus the wolves confidence is at peak levels at the right time, You can really tell they don't care whos in front of them. Plus playing on ten defensively for your defensive Stallworth's absence because he's got a little one coming into the world is the definition of team basketball.

The refs gave Denver a pretty kind whistle in game 1. This game the gloves came off and it was ugly because Minnesota never had kind calls to start with. I kind of like defense mattering again. Whoever wanted games to be won by who's the best at throwing up their arms and falling down?

Playoffs are and should be closer to jungle rules.

Only Jokic, Reggie, and Justin Holiday showed up to answer questions post-game. This last game really exposed this team's overall character and emotional maturity. It would have been hilarious if it wasn't pathetic. Calvin Booth will have to make some difficult decisions this summer.

Much respect to the Wolves. To dominate game 2 away from home? That's tough.

As a Jokic fan, I really wish he'd be more aggressive. Not just by taking more shots, but also by leading more verbally.
We all know that it's not in his nature, but if you really want to win against a great team, you gotta try everything possible.

Murray has also been disappointing. He is injured, but he was inconsistent throughout the year and also had a bad attitude sometimes.
Seems like Minnesota's year.

I'm still cautiously picking Wolves in 6 and OKC next. They have looked nearly as dominant in the playoffs and I think are gonna give Minny some problems.

It's kind of annoying how good OKC has been for being so young. It's what every team fan hopes for in a rebuild. I just hope that youth eventually exposes a lack of experience and composure. They have plenty of time.
