Don't love getting cooked in Mitch's minutes so far in this series. Which was completely predictable. Do his minutes almost losing us the game go in the "who gives a **** thread too?"

It’s great to get the win but I don’t think playing Hart 48 mpg is sustainable.

I don’t think people appreciated Brunson enough even after last year. I was telling people earlier this year that Brunson had long become the Knicks’ best player and I still got pushback. It shouldn’t have taken this playoff series to see that - he was amazing against both Cleveland and Miami last year.

Beyond that, I think anyone who calls Linsanity meaningless is very wrong and the fact that it got brought up like this feels weird. I don’t wanna derail the thread so I’ll leave it there. I do think Brunson will get more flowers than any player got since Ewing, much less Lin, and rightfully so.

I wasnt around last year...If I was I would have been right there with you :D
Especially knowing his fathers history and being around and a fan watching the 1999 team...

Haha.

As an Italian-American I got to admit it’s cool to have a fellow paison starting for my team. Not many are even in the league at all. I’m hard on him sometimes because I know he’s capable of how he’s played the last 2 games on both ends.

He also played great defense on Haliburton. Maxey and Hali both covered in perfectly seasoned Ragu.

or was it miles mcbride's minutes when brunson was out and he played mitch/precious togther. because in the 2nd half mitch did not have losing minutes. you're not watching the game portlandia.

What I love about Ragu is he's already a great shooter, is fearless and clutch. He just needs to push himself to get better. I think
the right summer for Hart and Divo and maybe we dont need a #2...

Precious got 4 minutes but wasnt it all with Josh and Mitch?

Not enough spacing with those 3. Thibs has to either sit Josh when Precious comes in at the 4 or play Precious at the 5. Otherwise he’s not going to work.

The 7 man rotation is barely 7 people anymore too. Deuce and Mitch got just over 10 minutes each. We’ll take the wins but the bench has to be integrated more.

I’d see what Burks can do in a few first half minutes with a short leash. Just tell him to give 3/D or stay on the sideline.

The talk after the game shows the anti-Knicks bias built into people's thinking, even if they have ever had something nice to say about them. They reflexively and often unconsciously see or don't see things in a way that slants against the Knicks.

They see the missed kicked ball and questionable Turner offensive foul but don't see the repeated holds on Brunson before inbounds all game long especially the one late where the jersey is obviously pulled and the questionable flop call on the Nesmith screen.

All of these took place in the final few minutes of a close game and impacted the game by costing each team points but of course only the ones that they think helped the Knicks that are important to them and don't even acknowledge the ones that hurt the Knicks.

So spare me the crocodile tears, they are just as salty and delicious as the real ones. The Knicks get screwed more often than they get helped in these circumstances during the past so I'm not sweating their complaints, cry more!
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I’m starting to believe that Thibs has somehow hacked human physiology bestowing some sort of prehistoric super strength to the Nova 3.

That, or we won’t see the inevitable consequences of physics until next season when our guys drop like flies. The endurance and performance under stress that we’re seeing from Hart, Brunson, and DDV is beyond anything I’ve witnessed in 40+ years of following hoops. None of it makes any sense, but here it is and you’re fooling yourself if you think Thibs will take his foot off the gas for even one moment.

the minutes will likely catch up with us eventually but not in this series. there's no real answer except alec burks anyway. and his minutes were terrible enough that he played his way out of the rotation shortly after we traded for him. can you blame thibs for not going back to that well after he hasn't played for a month and is likely rusty. and maybe injured.
