Watching Knicks vs Pacers, I thought the NBA did away with players getting a defender in the air, then jumping into that player (Brunson)

Horrific officiating on-behalf of the Knicks tonight, SMH.

This might be the first time I’ve kind of wondered if Deni could end up being better than Hali. He’s basically only looking to pass and the defense knows it.

What about Deni at $13 mil a year vs Haliburton at $40 mil. Factor that in and it gets even closer.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Game 7 is going to be fun.

The TWolve's defense, w/o Gobert, in the 2nd quarter was incredible. They are all long and were swarming around the ball carriers. I've never seen a playoff team as frustrated as Denver.
I really haven't seen much of the Wolve's play this year but they are fun team to watch in the playoffs.

It was basketball porn.
It's crazy how quickly the landscape changes in the NBA. 6 months ago folks were saying Denver is the next dynasty and they might win 2 in 3, or 2 in 4. Now you're wondering if they have to make significant changes to the roster to keep it going.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Wolves are definitely impressive and still undefeated in playoffs. I'm already wondering how they'll
do in the next round which is premature. That said, I doubt DEN could beat them 4x.
Naz Reid has been amazing shooting 3s.
The Nix/Indy game was marked by some flawed officiating. I didn't agree with the rationale given
for upholding the late illegal screen call. I also don't understand the reversal on the block Brunson
made. He clobbered the shooter. The Nix won by 4. IIRC, the spread after halftime was 3.5.

To be fair they let the Wolves get away with everything in the first half until it mentally broke the Nuggets. Felt like I was watching the Kings-Lakers. I think the NBA found their new darling team in the T Wolves. KAT and Reid were playing out of their minds though too. I can’t believe I saw Reid shut down Jokic on multiple possessions. I’m still pissed we didn’t draft Reid in the second round. Guy had talent and was perfect for the new age NBA, just needed to be coached up and get fit.

Great call on Naz Reid. At least we got Admiral Schofield out of that draft.
I'm enjoying these playoffs more because the refs are letting the players play like in the 90s.

Hard disagree on the officiating. The Nuggets just looked really weak especially Murray who threw a towel and and a heat pack at the officials who didn't even give a technical foul.
But props for you for calling to Naz Reid.

It looked like the officials were also made a questionable call on a screen that didn't favor the Knicks. Here is one they called on Divincenzo in the 3rd https://streamable.com/00ngmb. Also, Turner is not only moving but his feet are wider than his hips when setting the pick.
And Donte also got called for this foul whiched seemed dubious in the 4th quarter (at 25 seconds in) ;t=25s&ab_channel=BleacherReport.
It doesn't seem like Sacramento Kings/Lakers level although the officiating did seem to slightly favor the Knicks (the kick ball violation) which seemed more like a missed call than an attempt to change the spread of the game.

Murray deserves a suspension for that nonsense. Can’t believe they didn’t call anything on him in the game. And cheers on Reid. I miss Will Wade at LSU the old guard hated him. He is going to get a big time job probably after next season. He is going to be the new age Calipari in my opinion. Not the best X’s and O’s guy but runs analytics and understands the portal and who to target and can also recruit his tail off. Now that NIL is a thing he will turn whichever power 5 he ends up at into a contender.

Pacers were robbed but at the same time I don't have a lot of sympathy because they gave up so many layups it was insane.
Like that game was the perfect example of Myles Turners' reputation as a player. 2 rebounds in a close game where Josh Hart had like 12 boards and the Knicks just drove the ball in for layups not in fast break but in the half court for probably half their points in the 4th.

You mean in Ant Edwards. The Air Apparent. The cameras love him.
The League would love an Ant Edwards vs New York finals.

Things less compelling than watching any Cavs game this playoffs?
Paint drying, waiting in line at the post office...that's about it.

JB Bickerstaff coaching like it's still the 90s or early 2000s.
