So are people going to call out Jokic as a fraud MVP the same way they did Embiid last season when the Sixers were eliminated in the playoffs since the Nuggets are about to get swept by the T-wolves?

The other guy brought up the playoffs first, I simply responded.

Yes, its a regular season award and the Nuggets were very underwhelming compared to the hype they received about becoming a potential dynasty off their soft touch finals win last year. They mostly sleepwalked through the season which is kind of reflective of Jokics overall attitude towards basketball.

I felt SGA and Luka seasons were more impressive when you consider everything. They exceeded expectations set out for them this year.

I don’t see what “relative to expectations” has to do with anything. If you’re looking at regular season the Nuggets were the same as Shai’s team and better than Luka’s team.

Congratulations, but the definition of an asterisk MVP.

Shai or Luka should have gotten it, and if Embiid was healthy it would have been his unanimously.

This was more of a most healthy award than anything else.

Shaq is one of the dumbest people on national tv and that’s really saying something. He does deserve more MVPs, but this was classless. And he’s constantly bitching about Steve Nash. How come nobody asks him why he thinks he deserves those MVPs over Steve Nash when he wasn’t even the best player on his team?

If there’s an MVP he deserved it would be Allen Iverson’s which was an absolute joke.

Shaq has only himself to blame for this, he would have had more MVPs if he wasn't so lazy during the regular season in his peak years.

We went through this how many times in the last 4 years. No stats back up Embiid other than ppg. Not in games won on court or playoff games. Nothing. Keep it up. I love those salty tears
