It would certainly help the offense if our two best hitters - Schneider and Jansen - hit in the top half, but at least they're both in the lineup regularly now. And to think this ridiculous organization was trying to Schneider into a platoon role based on next to no data.
It is too much common sense for this organization. Varsho has no business hitting Second. Varsho with another tough day at the plate (0 for 4, Struck out 3 times), and BA now at .227. Take out his one good week in April where everyone got excited, and he is hitting under .200 in the other weeks.
Varsho should be hitting in the bottom of the order. Davis Schneider should be in the lineup on a Regular Basis (DH, LF, 2nd Base, 3rd Base) and hitting in the Top 5. He should not also be sitting so scrubs like Cavan Biggio and Vogelbach get their playing time. Many posters on this forum have been saying this now for the past month, but these morons making these decisions do not see it that way.
