For those walking the street next to Mecca, you've seen the Wisconsin Sports Hall of Fame plaques. I always enjoy stopping and looking at some of the names from the past.

Two updates (one good and one bad) per the:

The good: They are putting up a giant media board to run clips, highlights, etc.

The bad: They are getting rid of doing the bronze busts because reasons. So when Giannis gets on there, he'll be a video screen. Personally I love those plaques. Gives a sense of permanence and history IMO.

Founded in 1951, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame stopped adding bronze plaques for inductees a few years ago because space was running low to display them, they are extremely heavy (weighing 250 to 400 pounds each), some have been degraded by years and the elements, and today’s fans prefer to engage with modern forms of media, Lammi said.

“We felt more interactive, interview-focused videos or backlit images on stationary boards would be a better way to celebrate inductees moving forward,” Lammi said. “We just don’t think continuing to place these bronze plaques, which people aren’t necessarily paying a lot of attention to, was the best way to tell the story for these inductees.”

Yep. No reason they can't keep doing the plaques. It must be a cost situation, disguised as "the people wanted just a video screen"

I love that Draymond's schtick is now "the Yoda of Dickheads".

I happen to think way too much is being made of what looked to me like a very mild, not-at-all dangerous cheap shot, and it's funny for Draymond to find a new angle to criticize Carter from: you are not being a bad guy correctly.

That’s disappointing. It was always fun walking by those before and after games.

Jennings didn't start coming around until the championship season, he wasn't around before that. But yeah I'd give him a shot over Novak 8 days a week. There has to be other former players who would be interested. Novak filling in for Marques makes sense since it's sporadic and he's already doing the pre/post game shows. But no one at Bally's or the Bucks can think he's any good.

John Henson? On the latest episode of the Hear District, Marques interviewed him and John mentioned he’s been doing broadcasting on the East Coast and really loves doing it.
