I agree. In my post, I was just trying to point out that some people and the media were trashing both the Cavs and Magic whenever one of them played well and won. Now what do they have to say? It better be the same comments, otherwise it's either hate or hypocrisy.

Statistically they may have been but not with the eye test. It's not the same tough hard nose defense we saw under Udoka. They don't have the same attitude without him. On both sides of the ball. He was their leader. That's why they were hurt when he got suspended. That's why Celtics just look soft or lack focus. Because they lack floor leadership.

Reminiscent to Heat game 2 some would say but Heat didn't have Mitchell. He could very well explode for 50-60 to nab a couple games.

Heat made like 24 3's. Cavs, while shooting very well, only made 13. What the Cavs are doing offensively is far more sustainable than the Heat setting records for a single game

I still got C's winning and it might be a gentlemen sweep, but there's not a lot of similarities between what the Cavs did today and what the Heat did in their game 2.

Wolves are winning the championship this season. Best defense in the league. Boston relies too heavy on their 3 point shooting and this will be their downfall. ANT will takeover and turn into the face of the league by beating the Celtics.

Celtics are soft man. They wilt under adversity when their talent just doesn't let them coast to victory. Cavs take a lead and they had no answer. That just isn't the character of a champion.

Yes. Celtics can get 1 from there I think. They got enough talent.
I have been waiting, and still waiting, for this Celtics core to show true GRIT, to grow and mature in these kinds of moments. Tatum is already a father. Man if fatherhood don't make you mature I don't know what will. You have to take the leadership mantle. Be the example. Rise to the moment. That's what defines champions. I am waiting for this to emerge from this team. As long as that mentality doesn't emerge, they will not win a championship despite having the talent.

Bill Simmons and Russillo went off about LA fans and how so many are just Kobe fans. How you will see people in Kobe jerseys who aren't even watching their playoff games. Not saying they are wrong. Kobe jerseys are EVERYWHERE in LA, but they made sure to say how you'd never see that in Boston.

I have been in LA for 20yrs. Kobe really does transcend basketball here and there are plenty of Lakers fans who aren't even basketball fans, but I take issue with the "you'd never see that where I'm from" kinda BS. Such a clown take to think your fan base is better than that.
