Has anybody read anything about the MRI results? I can't find anything. For me this alone would be a very bad sign. Literally the only reason I can think of why they would keep the results secret is that they revealed more extensive damage....
In a time where Knick fans could use every bit of positive news they likely wouldn't keep positive results secret even if it is only for a PR win...

Just expect the worse. Watching it happen, he's not coming back any time soon. Next man up!

I'm no Alec Burks fan at all like probably the entire fanbase and he has played poorly since being traded back here but to me it seems he should get a little run....he is capable of having one of those scoring outbursts where he goes for 25-30 points....we need every bit of scoring we can conjure up.....

Ok. So it's time to dust off Sims. 20mpg minimum. No choice. Deuce has to step up big time as well. We are all out of rotation players now.
Brunson/Deuce
DDV/Deuce
Hart
Precious/Sims
iHart/Sims
The only other option is Burks.
BREAK OUT THE METAL BATS!!

I'd rather try out Burks....in game 3 the refs are essentially going to call everything in the Pacers favor and the odds of us winning it without OG and a hobbled Brunson are very low. Try out Burks....we only need two more wins....if he can find his stroke even for one game that would give us a much better chance at advancing.....we need some offense to replace OG's efficient scoring.

I won't be mad because, well, we have no other choices. Need more from Deuce though. He has to step up with or without Burks. We are paper thin.

No Burks. He's cursed.
Play him even one minute and the basketball gods will take something in return.
If Burks didn't play, OG would still be with us today.
Thibs needs to go deep into the bench and let an unheralded young 3rd stringer get an opportunity to be scrub of the night on the biggest stage.

Defense was god awful tonight, and Mitchell wasn’t going insane, game 3 and 4 the Celtics better come ready to play, I agree they might not even get out of this series because Mitchell can go off for 50 any game, not one guy on that Celtic team can defend him and with no softie manning the middle he can get to the rim at will
The few minutes I watched I thought the Celtics looked charmin soft with literally no fire in their bellies. I'm wondering if they even have a personality as a team or if they are just regular season pretenders
Their best player is a complete b-tch, looking up to Kobe and he’s nothing like him. That team is sooooo soft, if they lose game 3 they are fcked. Win tonight, can’t believe everyone is just accepting a loss cuz it’s in Indi and we’re hobbled, they still can’t play defense!

What kind of nonsense attitude is this from a Knick fan? You play better defense and hold the pacers close to 100-105 and we can get to 106+ Brunson/Hart/Divo can combine for 80, you can get 25 from iHart/Precious/McBride….
Game 3 is huge I would go all out and put a stranglehold on the series, they are expecting a win with OG out now as well we can sneak up on em and win the game.
THEY PLAY NO DEFENSE, lol
It will be hard to play better defense without our defensive anchor
Apparently some fans think Knicks can roll out the Wheelchair Allstars as their starting 5 and they'd still beat the Pacers because of "Grit"
This is an injury too far.
Knicks have at least 2 straight losses incoming.

Posters are down to a 6-7 man rotation with dozens of bench players
I strained my "giving a f*ck about game threads" about 2 weeks ago and have been less available and less effective than Alec Burks

Pacers bitchin about calls. Game is in Indy. This is gonna be a ref makeup game like we saw game 3 in Philly. I would be very shocked if we come out with a win tonight.
Fire Thibs!

Wilt Chamberlain averaged 48.5 for a SEASON.
Not sure of the playoffs.
Of course, since it was Wilt, then there's a controversy around it, like did he save fouls to preserve the streak.

With two players that can't shoot 3's in the starting lineup, and a 3rd player, Hart, capable of going ice cold in any game, the Knicks offense is going to completely suck tonight.
It's not even the defense I'm concerned about. I'm sure the defense will be ok. Not as good as with OG, but still good.
But the Pacers are going to play at pace, which is their coaches approach to them actually not being that talented or having enough decent defenders, and they'll put up points, while the Pacers sh*t defense will manage to hold the Knicks in check enough because, let's face it, starting iHart and Precious together is an ass starting lineup.
Pacers 125
Knicks 105

Nah. It's fine to hope for the best but this aint it bruh. Alec is godawful and should be playing in Europe or Asia. He's not an NBA caliber player. The pistons couldn't find any use for him. If he played any significant minutes for us he'd be a -25. But I guess we have no choice, it's either him or Shake so...

Wilt averaged 48.5 one season I believe.

they did the same thing with his elbow. woj was saying he’s likely out game 4 as well. we are probably going to be without him for the rest of the series if I had to guess.

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it
