It's not even the defense I'm concerned about. I'm sure the defense will be ok. Not as good as with OG, but still good.

But the Pacers are going to play at pace, which is their coaches approach to them actually not being that talented or having enough decent defenders, and they'll put up points, while the Pacers sh*t defense will manage to hold the Knicks in check enough because, let's face it, starting iHart and Precious together is an ass starting lineup.

Pacers 125
Knicks 105

iHart / Sims (Turner / Jackson)
jHart / Achiuwa (Siakam / Toppin)
Donte / Toppin (Halilburton / Nesmith)
McBride / Burks (Nesmith / McConnel)
Brunson / Milton (Nembhard / Sheppard)

we are deeper than oceans :D

I expect iHart, Precious, Hart, DDV, and Brunson to start so we have someone to guard Pascal and so McBride can give DDV and Brunson some rest off the bench. Sims is going to get 8-10 minutes when Turner is out of the game because iHart can't handle more than 38-40 mins.

Even though we're the heavy underdogs going into this game (by vegas), I still think there's a good shot we win this because Indy is soft as butter, mentally. If we can keep it close at half time, we can out execute them down the stretch again.

Just need Precious and McBride to step up.

Posters are down to a 6-7 man rotation with dozens of bench players

I skip most of the GT now because of all of the voluntary self-shaving action during the first three quarters.

The amount of discarded fur will make you gag up a fur ball if you're not careful.

Some of them are even shaving themselves without lube which is great if you're a fan of gore movies.

At some inflection points during the game, every other post will claim we've lost the game or the season is over.

If they keep this up, RealGM will append the word Cat to end of their usernames.

Brunson/Deuce
DDV/Deuce
Hart
Precious/Sims
iHart/Sims

The only other option is Burks. :o BREAK OUT THE METAL BATS!!

I'd rather try out Burks....in game 3 the refs are essentially going to call everything in the Pacers favor and the odds of us winning it without OG and a hobbled Brunson are very low. Try out Burks....we only need two more wins....if he can find his stroke even for one game that would give us a much better chance at advancing.....we need some offense to replace OG's efficient scoring.

We will need both Burks and Sims.
We cannot survive without some size, we also need spacing. Precious, Hart, iHart will be stagnating on offense. Precious - Hart- and smaller players are going to be brutalized by Pacers bigs.
Yes this is what we brought these players in for. It's an "Emergency break glass" situation. And if there is any team that Burks chucking might be effective against, it's the Pacers.

I think this is the correct move.

Save Precious for backing up Hartenstein and maybe Hart, or at least maybe Hart backs up McBride/Donte, and then Precious backfills the 4 as well.

They'll still lose, but at least there's a 1% chance of winning if they play the small lineup.

Yes all the pressure is in them....and just looking at their faces at the end of game 2...you can see a fair amount if self doubt.
