We were down 2 of our top 4 players for most of the season. So when you take away 2 of our best players of course we are gonna suck. The fact we didn't end up with the worst record without 2 of our best players tells you we obviously aren't that bad in terms of talent.

Spurs/Washington/Detroit had their best player for most of the season. We had ours for 20 games. It's possible we are a play in team if Melo stays on the court.

My guess and been saying it for awhile...Lavar pushed them WAYYYYYY to much as kids and they're brittle as balsum wood...too much "year round" playing and its catching up...the whole narative on rest in the NBA pisses me off because they played 200+ games a year as a kid/teenager...if they can't get through 82-100 in a season they screwed themselves and should be screwing themselves out of their max contracts!

When healthy he can be a top 20 player. I believe he was 15th in offensive win shares this season despite playing 20 games. Had a 10 game stretch this season averaging 30/7. He just hasn't played. And people like to clown on the Balls and the Hornets so you get a lot of casual takes.

I’m actually very excited about LaMelo’s future here especially if he clicks with Miller and Williams the way I think he can. It all hinges around his health.

High level talent in a crap team, he comes off as a bit of an airheaded jock who mainly focused on the flasby fame and money (allows him to hook up with pornstars lol), instead of super focused on improving and engaging in more winning team ball.

But all of that is moot, because he is genuinely all-star level player (with weak team), but has become injury prone like his brother. But unlike his brother he has the ability to become a top 10 player in the league if he focuses and develops fully. Health main thing holding him back. He is too talented and fun
to watch so I hope he overcomes it.
