Oso Ighodaro and Jalen Bridges should be our top priorities anywhere in the 20-40 range. If we can somehow finesse both that would be outstanding
doubt they'd be even look at Oso tho because of TJD, which is unfortunate

the Wiggy deal, part of the reason why I hated the mechanics of the deal when it happened.
thankfully, the draft turned out to be a bad one.
Nonetheless if Dunleavy can pick up Podz at #19 and TJD at #57, he could probably find someone decent at #13 even in a weak draft.

we don't have 13, we lose the pick if it's not in the top 4

Of course, but this is the alternate reality where we didn't send that pick along with the Iguodala deal.

i mean yea, i'd rather have the pick than not have it lol...and you can find good players even in bad drafts.

4% chance for a top 4 pick! We going to get lucky for Jared!
Wasserman has McCain #7 so this might actually be the truth, which if so, is absolutely wild to me. I never thought McCain could go anywhere near this high.
I've got McCain roughly around 4-7 range, but admittedly would feel insane actually taking him there at this point. Very similar feeling to how I was with Hali/Maxey. Not comparing them to McCain, just that I had them around top 5 but wanted a trade back since I didn't love the options at 2 as legit #2 picks. And just to not re-write history, once we stayed at #2 I got scared off from actually saying I'd pick Hali there and agreed with the Wiseman pick.

Big fan of both of these players too.
I could see Oso as an option considering TJD is now considered ahead of Loon on the depth chart. So if they get a bench stretch big (which they have said they want), Oso allows them to waive Loon and have Oso as 3rd center (or 4th considering Dray) on a rookie deal vs paying Loon for that small role.
As for Bridges... can't get enough of those types of 3/D players. Hope we maneuver to get him somehow.

Oso kind of seems like a smaller hartenstein with those flip/floaters

At least Haliburton was interesting. McCain is such a boring prospect.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

I watched Duke a bit this year as I was hoping Proctor might turn out. He didn’t.
But I saw a lot of McCain and I do not see it.

I don't understand everyone's urgency to dump Looney and his really reasonable contract. I know that he had a bad year (and looked gassed even in the first quarter) -- was there a medical reason for that? If it was just bad conditioning or fatigue for some other reason, maybe he comes back this year like a prior version of himself? If so, he's worth every penny that they're paying him.

We won't have to wait long to learn if the Warriors leap up to the top-four! We'll know it on the first draw, if it doesn't say Warriors then Warriors get a top four pick.

I find it funny how many people would be really angry if the Warriors get a top 4 pick ... including a lot of Warriors fans

If we get top 4 theres an opportunity to trade with pdx acquiring out ‘25 pick back + maybe some value (like Grant or their injury prone guys for Looney + Payton).

A top four pick will have value. Probably more value than whatever player is selected at #4 has. Once the pick is used it's like a new car - loses value as soon as you drive it off the lot.

Let's say the Warriors win the lottery - keep or trade the pick?

A top 4 pick this year is going to have less value than the 2020 #2 pick

Portland, Toronto, NO all have decent multiple first round picks.
I'd flick the top 4 pick in a two for one and then try and trade the higher one to Memphis for our pick returned next year while still keeping a decent pick this year.
