Welp, that was a butt kicking. The death of the Nuggets looks overstated to me. I dont know why people feel so threatened by Jokic that they have to try to demean him and the Nuggets all the time. There title run last year was bogus, Jokic passes because he doesnt want to score, SGA should have one the MVP, yada yada yada.

They say that the Nuggets faced teams in the playoffs last season that wouldn’t have made it to the playoffs this season.

I've been too afraid to say this for a long time.

Brunson should have learned from Embiid that trying to make the shot is better than deliberately fishing for a foul. I do think the latter is a product of fatigue, which also explains why Embiid settles for a lot of those types of shots down the stretch.

It’s like saying Mj played in a “watered down” league.

He would have gotten that call against us...

He is without a doubt the most skilled player to ever play the game. That was some great defense.
always a jump shot away.

Isaac Okoro has been a huge disappointment in the NBA.

Let's go Pacers. Hell of a start. Wish the Sixers had a passionate core that threw punches like this.

The reality is that the Pacers should win this series handily, given the health and depth issues of the Knicks. They are talented, but I don't think they're that good. They have no real go-to player, and depend way too much on late shot clock heaves when they aren't getting transition buckets and hitting their 3's. If the Knicks had Anonoby, Robinson, and a healthy Brunson, they win this series in 5.

I agree. This shooting especially from the bench isn't sustainable.

The numbers that jumped out at me in the Pacers-Knicks game were minutes played. In a game that was over by halftime, and with the Knicks clearly a dead team walking, Thibs still managed to leave Brunson and DiVincenzo in for over 30 minutes. Guy is stubborn to a ridiculous extent. Meanwhile, Haliburton at 27 minutes was the most on Indiana.

Anthony Edwards just looks like a guy who's gonna win multiple championships as long as he has the right team around him.

Love this series. Just two big bad young teams. They’ll be facing each other for a while.
2024-2025 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/Lowry/Jackson
Martin/Gordon/McCain
Oubre/Council/Martin
George/Yabusele
Embiid/Drummond/Bona

Burke can play with Ben, unlike TJ.
