Might be foolish. Might be the nostalgia for the Wroten and Carter-Williams years. But I'm all about the aggressive, attacking, penetrating guys this year. That's why my preference is for Collier or Mintz. I want to bring that Jimmy Butler energy back into the Wells Fargo Center.

Even though I get it that shooting has become paramount at the G position, in most cases.

The compromise is guys that both attack and sling like an Ajay Mitchell or a Tristen Newton type.

Since you're all about FTR you should be in on DaRon Holmes with his absurd .724 FTR. That's Zach Edey level.

Gimme a flyer on Reece Beekman as a UDFA. His defensive metrics are too insane to ignore and his FT% gives hope he'll eventually become adequate enough from 3PT to be an effective rotation player.

Any 2nd round C’s available that could potentially play if need be?

Can Quentin Post play in the NBA? Bona from UCLA and Almansa from G League seem to be the only other real C options.

I've been a fan of Holmes for a couple years now. I just don't see the value of using a 1st on a big, in our circumstance.

It depends if he can play PF alongside Embiid. If he can he becomes very valuable to us.

Pelle Larsson is an interesting player. Unfortunately he’s pretty highly assisted on his points but he’s 6’6 with a clean shot, +.300 FTr, +20 AST%. Seems athletic, saw him dunk in traffic a bunch. Need to watch more, but I like his game from what I’ve seen so far.

He's a very interesting "almost" guy for me.

There's a lot of Bogdan Bogdanović to his game, regarding his size, passing, and projected shooting.

I'd want a senior to be in that 15+ ppg range, though.

I’d still trade Trae if I’m the Hawks even though they got the top pick.

Funny that the Hawks get freakish luck to get the #1 pick in a draft that is a crapshoot at the top.

Had no idea they moved the lotto to Sunday. IIRC it used to be on Tuesday evening during the conference finals. I wonder why? I guess they figured more people would be tuning in for Mother's Day?

I guess Alexandre Sarr goes #1 now. He can be the pick and roll partner for Trae Young.

In line with my FA predictions (PG & DeRozan), I think Morey trades Paul Reed and drafts Kel’el Ware. Feels like a Maxey level selection of a guy who was a blue chip recruit with intriguing tools at C. Gives us a first rounder to be Embiid insurance if he goes down, however I’d expect Morey to sign another vet min goon to be extra insurance.

Bobi's got a baby wingspan, can't get on board.

Why is Jamir Watkins not on the draft board at Tankathon? Looks like a great wing prospect with our 2nd rounder.

I've been wondering this since he was rumored to be transferring to UK. He's a 2-way stud who will be a valuable role player in the NBA.

Oof, some bad wingspans in this class. Furphy is a 0+ wingspan. Filipkowski is negative.

Zach Edey is 7'3.75" without shoes so basically 7'5" in shoes. 7'10.75" wingspan.

Very curious how high he ends up getting drafted. I think a team will try to build a zone defensive scheme around him in order to keep him on the floor.
