I'm very interested in the moves the Rockets will make this summer.
If you had to predict the 2-3 most likely players they will attempt to trade for - who would they be?

Conspiracy theory to boost Atlanta? Take off the tinfoil hat

This was a lost season for them with the Morant suspension and then injuries to Morant, Adams, and Clarke, but they were a Top 6 team by record last season and had the #2 record in the league in 21-22, and now they have a #9 overall pick to add. It's a crapshoot in a draft like this, but if they hit on it and add a good player to a core that already consists of Morant, JJJ, Bane, Clark, and Smart, they could really bounce back next season.

Its also kind of crazy how the Hawks went from being a "terrible team that doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs" to being "too good" to receive the number pick 1.
You don’t have to take Sarr by any means. The popular draft boards online all start to reach a semi consensus at the end of the year because no one wants to pull a Kevin O’Connor and take a risk on declaring some player the best prospect and be wrong. But idk man I think it’s pretty unlikely that Sarr will end up being the best player in this draft, if the Hawks can identify the guy in this draft with real upside it’s a great pick to have.
Sarr is the safe pick right now because every team in the NBA can always use length and defense. But I fully expect (or hope) someone else will emerge once the combine and pre-draft stuff kicks off. This class is begging for someone to differentiate themselves.

I'm glad the Tank isn't rewarded...the Pistons should learn something here, although the really sad thing is that I don't think they're terrible on purpose.Bob Ross wrote:Napoleon7 wrote:NBA definitely had its fingerprints all over this lottery.
