If that was their defensive strategy, they executed poorly or could've done better imo. The 51.1% 3-pt attempt rate of the Cavs is their highest in the postseason and 9th highest including RS.

45 points given up on 48 shots. 153 points given up from the three on 154 attempts for the series.

Specifically commenting on Jrue saying they wanted to run them off the line and make them play in the paint. They really didn't.

Or shooting luck finally favored the good guys (mostly in the 2nd half).

The Cavs strategy of running everyone off the three point line is neutralizing Hauser. A different defense would let him do his thing.
Pritchard is amazing on defense at that size. He's not even being targeted.
Jrue Holiday is quickly flipping around the meaning of "Playoff Jrue."
Kornet performed well, which let Al Horford play sane minutes. This is huge. On that note, Game 5 must be won for Horford's longer term regeneration.
The Celtics can't win the title without a certain tall Latvian. With him, they can. Half their late game options are taken away when he's out.
Celtics fans are stoically bearing up under another win.
