Will be a toss up from here.

while I still think that the siakam trade return was underwhelming, I'm glad the FO did the moves they did even if there were a bit late.

I don't know if the Knicks can be at this stage if they didn't make the trade.
- Raptors RealGM Forum re: Masai Ujiri - June 2023What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Yet, the Pacers and Knicks believe they got the steal, both are top in +/- on their respective teams.
I don't think neither teams go this far without the trades. And the problem is more with the Raptors than these players (including Achiuwa).

OG has been injured a lot, yes. But it's incorrect to say he "always injured come playoffs. " He had appendicitis to miss the 2019 playoffs. Otherwise he's never missed a playoff game until the last 3 Pacers games. He played all 10 playoff games in 2018, all 10 in 2020, all 6 in 2022, the lone play-in in 2023, and 8 playoff games this year until he pulled the hamstring.

This is your takeaway from this match up? OG is hurt and Siakam is not playing like a max player. OG trade was an amazing deal for us and even if we did not get enough for Siakam this is much better than losing them in the off season for nothing.

You were only facing losing them for nothing because of how badly Masai mishandled the situation.

Don't forget the elbow injury. That will need surgery or something in the offseason.

Also, consider the seasons where the Raptors missed the playoffs (Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!?!?!?!) outright.
