I love his defense and his playoff free throws, but like you said he needs muscles to grab though rebounds or maybe that's not why but he plays volleyball with them and they usually go to the opponent, drives me nuts. But he's going to be great.

he will be a hundred million++ dollar player once he fills out. Double double in like 20 mins and +20 or something. As a rookie in the playoffs that’s pretty good. People have to eat **** for hating on their tank because that retooling season has helped a lot.

It wasn't a re-tooling season. They were a good team, then made the move for a second star which didn't jell that first year then they tanked literally for 3 quarters of one game(and even had they won that game and the next one they would have missed the play-in).

Crazy that narrative spread by Knicks fans who just wanted the pick lol still sticks around all this time later.

In a reg season that most teams didn’t care/were injured, OKC was very healthy throughout. We’re in playoffs, regular season matters absolutely nothing at this point.

I am not even trying to complain about the refs, but this literally has been happening all series. Mavericks can't even go up the floor and run an offense. Luka as the only player to shoot a free throw half way through the 3rd quarter is absolutely insane. I have since calmed down but my God. How are they allowed to do this on offense/defense every game?

Undersized tweeters like him get exposed in playoff environment against good teams. He’s a 6’4 SF, that’s not cutting it.

He's 6'6 and he's a SG. He's playing PF for the Thunder because Presti is still evaluating. In a perfect world, he would start next to SGA with Dort at the SF and bigger player (6'9+) next to Chet.

He’s 6’5. That’s undersized for either SF or PF. And I don’t think he has the handles to play as SG but I may be wrong on that.

Over 100 in Game 4 too if Mavs were a better free throw shooting team, the series would have been over also.

After Game 5 thoughts:

* DAL > OKC.

* If Luka were healthy, DAL wins in 5 games max.

* If DAL doesn't spam turnovers and gets DREBS, OKC can't win

* OKC is smoke and mirrors and relies on opponent turnovers and bursts. Take those things from them and they are greatly reduced. They feel more like a
regular season team than a playoff squad.

* Full power Luka would be dominating the series

* Shaq should be embarrassed about his MVP nonsense

SGA looking at a team where he does everything right but needs some real help.

First time ever Luka has a equal on better opponent that he is facing in the playoffs but Luka’s team is actually better.

Good for Dallas on those trades -

Looks like 0kc still too young

Gotta give credit to Dallas' defense though. OKC was 3rd in points per game in the regular season. Dallas is making them very predictable it's either SGA drive to the hoop or shoot a 3. They are clogging up that lane and only SGA is a superstar that can consistently get by it.

Gafford and Lively have been MVP's. OKC have to stay and shoot from the perimeter because of how good the rim protection is.

They each had Chet under and through their legs after dunk hanging on the rim. While I don't mind it as a Mavs fan, his teammates must be pissed off for him not retaliate or get it back

No, apparently not.

That's one reason Luka is better. Higher ceiling.

SGA is the guy with a .325 batting average and 20 home runs.

Luka is .310 average and 55 home runs.

Different kinds of players.

SGA had like 52 games of 30+ and Luka had around 50, but Luka has a scoring top end SGA doesn't appear to have.

Luka can go supernova and SGA may not have that ability.

To be fair to SGA, Luka is the most "supernova" capable guy in the league currently and one of the best at that of all time.

I actually feel the opposite. Aside from maybe the Pacers there's no team Dallas matches up worse with than Boston

I'm not worried about that Porzingis will either choke or get injured. I'm way more worried about that guy in Denver and his friends.

I don't get your fear of Boston. Boston has loss and been pushed by Miami without Jimmy, Cleveland without Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell. I get KP is out but if there is any team that knows about KP, it's the Mavericks. Boston has the easiest road to the finals out of any team in the West.

Accurate I have yet to see SGA blow up. Truthfully it’s hard to have an extremely high scoring game without a lot of threes. Not that hard but 3s definitely help.

Luka ability to go supernova is the reason we actually have a good chance in any series.

I watched the regular season games against them, including the post trade deadline one. It's a really bad matchup for us
