Oh wow, I didn't know he was sick. Assuming he was. I didn't always love his work but he was a TSN stalwart for years. Very sad news.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

RIP. Seemed like he was into ball and not just a puckhead which isn’t always the case with these anchors.

Very sad. I recall first seeing him on a local news station's sports desk somewhere in Edmonton. Can't quite recall if he went to Headline Sports/TheScore before TSN. But he earned going national. Great talent.

He is the face I always associated with TSN and truly one of the best at his profession.

I recall he got back to Sportscentre within the last year after taking time off. At that time I knew his cancer had already progressed so I appreciate him carrying on as much as possible despite the diagnosis.

He was one of those familiar faces I've just gotten used to seeing on TV

He will be missed.

When he came back he didn't look himself so I knew something was up. I really liked him, he seemed like a guy's guy and he always had jokes. Condolences to his loved one.

p.s. Make sure to check your prostrate - even if it seems uncomfortable.

Very sad, was great at his job. Dude was built like a tank. Too bad someone healthy like him could succumb to cancer at such a young age.
