Sarr would be perfect if he pans out

Hitting on a true C at the top of the draft has been risky business. Sarr looks much worse than Mobley and Mobley isn't exactly great. Hopefully Sarr isn't the next Wiseman.

we honestly should just try to take a flyer on Wiseman and get the most league ready athletic wing we can find

He wouldn't be my first choice but I think I'd be fine with Bona. 5-star recruit despite not playing basketball until his teens, and I wouldn't completely rule out him adding a jumper to his arsenal based on his already evident FT improvement (70%). Oh, and then there's this:

https://www.si.com/college/ucla/men-s-basketball/ucla-basketball-adem-bona-allegedly-breaks-pre-draft-ml0802

He declared for the draft and was invited to the NBA Draft Combine. However, he seems to be making waves on his own. Reportedly during a private workout with a club, Bona broke the record for vertical jump, exceeding Keon Johnson's record 48-inch jump back in 2021.

I mean, if we're still harping on the need for "young, athletic defenders"....

Ryan Dunn in the 1st, Beekman in the 2nd or as an UDFA, trade for De'Andre Hunter, call up Kihei Clark from the Herd, sign Anthony Gill as an UFA.

He's also similar to Bam in that it seems like he's a good passer who hasn't been put in a role where it's been on display consistently. He's a type we don't have on the roster and I'd be happy bringing him in. I feel like you're most likely at least getting a player along the lines of Day'Ron Sharpe.

Yeah he looks damn good sitting in a stance and moving his feet here. Urge to draft... rising.

Moves around a little bit like a massive version of Thanasis. That’s not really a bad thing

We are in a win now mode. No time for projects. Find guys that can contribute something from day one. Ware is one of those guys in my humble opinion

There's a lot to like about Bona, but it's a major red flag to me that this uber athlete couldn't even grab 6 rebounds a game. He's incredibly raw and a long ways away.

We have been in win now for over half a decade. And because we haven’t taken the time to develop projects we are constantly griping about being too old.

This team needs an Uber athletic 5. This draft seems to have quite a few that are worth the roll of the dice.

Still haven't checked out a lot of these guys but have to let Supreme know that Trentyn Flowers may be the new intriguing Aussie (league) player to follow.

Haven’t sen any footage of this year’s draft, but the clip looked impressive to me. Players as athletic as this usually don’t play in the combine games.
